FDS ZEAL FDS ジール — Hotel in Osaka

FDS Zeal is a spacious and exceptionally clean apartment in the Namba district. The personal washing machine and kitchenette were our saving grace. The shower room can also be set to heater to dry our clothes when we went out for the night. The hosts kindly allowed us to drop off our luggage before checkin time, approx around 12pm, and we were able to go about with our day. The only negative thing is that the pillows were really deflated, could go with an upgrade.

I mainly booked this place because of its close proximity to be the transport hub of Namba and being walking distance to Dotonbori (although it is quite a lengthy walk especially with all my Donki shopping bags 😂). However, if you are getting a JR pass and doing a lot of day trips to other areas such as Hiroshima, Nara and Kobe … I would recommend staying in the Osaka central area. Checking in process was automated henceforth there is no one manning the place. Prior to checking in, suggest getting your full particulars ready to be keyed into the tablet so everything would be a breeze.

There is sliding door which requires a master password. Do ensure you have them ready otherwise you will not be able to access anything more than your room.

Upon entering the room it was neatly furnished; everything you need ie; washing machine, detergent, ironing board, hair dryer, hot flask were store conveniently for your usage. Moreover, there's convenience store ie; Lawson, Family Mart within walking distance.

Enjoyed our stay for a period of 5 days before proceeding to Tokyo. Would recommend this place even though the check in wasn't as seamless as...

Overall experience was great. Pros: Everything looks new, very clean. In quiet neighborhood Only 5 minutes walk to subway station which is one stop away to Namba/ Dotonbori. You can even walk to dotonbori . Has two mini market about 100m away.
