Bad experience, one-night I got back to the hotel around 00:30 am when I arrived at the foyer, the hotel room card did not work at the foyer door, I pressed the doorbell but no one answered, I was locked outside for a while, lucky there was a customer came back, so I follow him into to the hotel reception. And then the worst thing happened, the hotel room card could not unlock my room door, and there was no one at the reception, only a phone number left on the desk, I am an overseas traveller and I only have a data SIM card which is not able for me to make any phone call in Japan. So I knocked on another customer's door to ask for help around 01:00 in the morning. Unfortunately, the customers said they could not make phone calls as well, because they are overseas travellers also using the data SIM card. Then I tried to use the intercom phone on my floor for a while, but no one answered. So, I was trapped in reception again. Eventually, I have gone back to the foyer door and kept pressing the intercom doorbell until someone answered. Finally, a staff came out, I was very upset and explain what had happened to the staff, the staff exchanged my room and gave a word of sorry then walked away. For the whole event, I was lock outside my room for almost an hour ,what a...
Read moreThis is a clean and new hotel in a normal, quiet area of Osaka. However, I have a few comments that spoiled my stay here:
sound insulation: for a new building this is unacceptable. you almost feel like you are in a hostel.
There seem to be amenities, but they will not be in the room when you arrive and you should go downstairs to the reception. There is tea and coffee in the room, but no bottled water (fortunately there is a convenience store nearby).
Cleaning service is not provided at all. Still, in 3* hotels, cleaning should be provided at least upon request (even by Japanese standards).
Internet speed constantly drops every 15 minutes by 1-2 minutes. It's terribly annoying
All of the above features were available in other hotels in the same price range that I visited in Japan, so for now I cannot recommend this place for a comfortable stay. However, 100% suitable for 1-2 nights...
Read moreIt's much bigger than what we ordered in the same price range in Tokyo. Because it's a new store, it's very clean and there's nothing to say. The girl and brother at the front desk are very gentle but they seem to only be able to speak English for the time being (there is a communication card in Chinese), and you can make an appointment with the front desk for cleaning, changing linens, pajamas, etc. every other day. In terms of transportation, it is five minutes' walk from the subway. Minutes, don’t worry, it’s not too far. If you have good physical strength, you can walk directly to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi (about ten minutes) (Osaka is not big. JPG There are also FamilyMart, convenience stores and small restaurants nearby, which is very suitable for independent travel. Partners with a...
