PROS Stay here if there are no other hotels around the main destinations like Namba and Umeda because they're few stations away. Other than that, it's only good for sleep and the aesthetics are good even if the room is small. There's also a Starbucks on the other side of the road.
CONS There's only 1 oven for the entire building in 1st floor and you can't even use the huge table in the lobby to eat your food. Guest Lounge is only open from 5 pm to 10 pm. Everyone staying here isn't going to spend their day within the hotel or in Higobashi, most if not all will be in Namba or Umeda and will only come and wanna use the lounge to rest and "lounge" after the day or before the day starts. They lack amenities. Just toothbrush and toothpaste. Check-in was slow. The small fat female receptionist has such a condescending tone as well. I thought it was just to us but she was the same to this korean woman when telling her instructions during check-in despite the korean woman being soft-spoken and respectful. For the price you're paying, you'd think there are free drinks, more amenities, 24/7 access to the lounge area. Also, breakfast is not covered by the price and yet they tell you the wifi is free when it's literally the bare minimum.
Don't stay here unless you're out of options. It's not...

Read moreBooked for four and got two rooms which were adjacent to each other. Let me be clear that you should not expect a massive room. One person with their luggage and they would be "cozy". We had two per room so we had to carefully shimmy ourselves past eachother. With that being said the front desk staff are very accommodating. They spoke English well enough to get the meaning across. It was a bit hot in the room even with the AC on so we had to call front desk for a key so we could open up the window. The location of the hotel is fantastic as it's literally 1 minute away from the subway station entrance/exit. Convenience stores are all around plus a 24 hour restaurant right across the street. The room itself while small and a little dated, had all the necessary amenities. They also clean the room every day which is nice. We got a smoker room even though we were non-smokers. We weren't able to smell any left over smoke from the previous guests. All in all, it's a reasonably priced hotel, and really how long would you be staying inside the hotel and not going...
