Tanimachi Kun Hotel Namba 80 — Hotel in Osaka

Good spacious room as compared to Japanese hotel standard. Love the spacious wardrobe area. You can just put your luggage there, put your necessary purchases of the day, hang your clothes and still roomy enough for a person to rearrange items in the cabinet wardrobe area. Extra pillows were provided (but without pillowcase). I love the washing machine and you can just dry your laundry in the shower room as they have the hot dryer function here.

You will need to walk 5-7 minutes to any nearest station, this includes the Shin Imamiya station which has direct train access to Kansai Airport (Kansai Rapit Express, 30mins train ride to airport).

Place is value for money as compared to staying at the hotel for sure. Nice toiletteries in the shower room and they also provide detergent to wash your clothes. I am generally happy with the room unit. Would not mind coming here again if I stay at Osaka the next time.

Cons: No vacuum or cleaning items to use to clean the floor for long stay. Should also include translation sticker for washing machine but you can also use google translate. We are truly grateful to Tanimachikun Hotel Namba 80 for their kindness and understanding during a very difficult time. Due to the unexpected Air Canada strike, our trip to Japan was cancelled, and we were heartbroken that we could not make our reservation.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful, compassionate, and quick to respond to our situation. They showed great understanding and assisted us with our cancellation request without any trouble. Their professionalism and care made a stressful experience much easier for us to handle.

This studio apartment was ideal for our long stay. The space itself was beautiful, and it had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchenette, washer and dryer, and even a drying rack in the bathroom that worked wonders! Our clothes always came out clean, fresh, and wrinkle-free – it was like magic!

The location was decent too, situated very close to several metro/train stations. This made getting around the city a breeze. We never had any trouble finding transportation.
