Really liked our stay at this APA location even though we didn't spend a ton of time at the property except for sleeping. The location simply cannot be beat, it is literally steps away from the train station. Walk right off the train and into the hotel. In a safe part of town with many food and shopping options in the neighborhood surrounding. Rooms were comfy and clean!
Unfortunately, the breakfast is extremely limited, think a set menu with exactly 3 set plates. No substitutions allowed to combine dished either which we thought was strange. Also, the breakfast was very much full meals, think raw beef and rice, curry or fish and rice....for breakfast. Laundry was also disappointing. You have a massive hotel with hundreds of rooms and only 2 machines....doesn't feel like enough especially when inconsiderate people put laundry in first thing in the AM and then leave for the day leaving the machine locked and full of their laundry so nobody else can use.

Read moreIt's actually a great place to stay for a traveler who travels alone. The receptionists are all nice and friendly even in English. APA Hotel has everything I need: a good location, AC, hot water for a bath, free wifi, a big bed with a fair price, especially during the sakura season. Also, there are some local Japanese restaurants and convenience stores around, these surprised me too, no need to worry about food things during my stay.
The only reason I give it 4 stars just because of the chair and desk distance. It's kinda short and tinny, a little bit hard to move my legs underneath the desk or move them out. I know it's the room space limitation so I'm okay with it. Just want to share the experience with people. I will choose APA hotel again if I have chance to visit Osaka...
Read moreThe hotel is clean, with beautiful lobby and friendly staff. It is located near the subway Midosuji Line, so easy access to namba, shinsaibashi, umeda and other great locations. Also if youre going back to the airport, it is 12 minutes walk to Nankai Line (Shin-Imamiya Station). There are family mart and lawson just across the street so its very convenient. And as per the room, same as other APA hotels, its just nice to sleep in with very small space for your luggage (so keep this is mind). As for muslims, maybe you have to pray on your bed (depending on the qibla). Overall it was a...
