I use Google religiously to trust where to eat, but I read before coming to Japan that they are harsh with reviews here. What’s a 4+ star rated restaurant usually in the states is 3 stars here. So I don’t go off ratings but based on purely what I want to eat and what’s closest while in Japan. I wanted sushi, this place was close, bet.
Foreigners advice- The menu is offered online with pictures and you can pay card or cash. I ordered on the website all at once and the food arrived so quick I was shook. If I could do it over I would have just ordered one thing at a time because they don’t stagger it themselves, when the order comes in the food goes out as soon as possible. I recommend the whisky highball with yuzu (third option down on the menu), and the salmon nigiri plate highly. They did put their own amount of wasabi in the nigiri. It was a balanced amount but if you’re not a fan of wasabi you might have to flag down a waiter for sashimi orders. The toro sashimi plate, the seasoned cucumber, and grilled octopus shaped sausage were all very good too. I ordered a second drink and it all came out to about 5000 yen or $36 USD, which was a good price to me for how much food I got (a lot).
