Kushikatsu Daruma arde! Shin-Osaka — Restaurant in Osaka

Super casual “ Kushiage” restaurant. Nothing modern, cool or stylish dining yes Nothing is POSH however it is FAST, DELICIOUS and FUN!

It used to be more cheap, more easy to stop by often. Covid effected Kushiage culture in Osaka, too and makes me upset a bit.

But staffs are working very hard but nice to deal with. You can feel they are looking after you very well while you are in the store, which is very nice.

And food comes very fast and on the box table seat, little train will deliver your items to your table which is very fun, too.

I came to here twice while I was staying in ShinOsaka for 2 days. My hubby likes Daruma, too! Thank you for good...

I was hoping for lunch, a seat, and most of all a shelter from the stressful train station terminal while waiting for my train. Restaurant atmosphere was actually more noisy and stressful than the train station outside. The seating was uncomfortable. Ordering was via app so the service was minimal. The food and drink was expensive for what it was. The food taste and quality was only ok, there was nothing outstanding. I found myself wishing i had selected the grill or the ramen place on either side as those diners look...

I had never been here because I was told it’s only in Osaka (or the region at least). It is always entertaining going to kushiage places because you can try all sorts of things in small sizes and then repeat what you like the most, which is the difficult task as pretty much everything is amazing. It was around 8pm and we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, but the service was good and the food...
