In this tiny house, you'll find a place where you can plan your day trips and discover Tokyo. Only a short walk to Oshiage station it's quiet, reasonably priced and comfortable. There's a good selection of jazz, blues, rock and other records you can play in the living area. Our room could sleep a family and down stairs is a quiet area to make tea.

Best hostel in Tokyo. It's super clean and cozy. The host is kind and welcoming too. Definitely gonna stay here again!

너무 친절하시고 영어로 대화하려고 노력하셔서 너무 좋았다. 방도 깔끔하고 아늑했고, 운이 좋아서 5인실을 혼자 사용했다. 샤워실이 1층에 하나뿐이지만, 화장실이 방마다 있고 세면대도 따로 있어서 정말 편했다. 그리고 스카이트리에서 걸어갈 수 있는 거리라 위치도 좋았다. 이불은 정말 눕는 순간 침대에 스며들 것 같은 느낌 (한국분들 뭔지 아시죠) 너무 포근해서 바로 잠들 뻔 했다. 아무튼 숙소 외관에 보고 반해서 예약했는데 일본여행 중 가장 좋았던 기억을 남겨준 게스트하우스다. 근처 일정 있다면 하루쯤은 숙박하시길 추천드려요!

Positive: The host and his parents were so nice! They chatted to me about travelling and gave me some sweet potato snacks. Also they had free bananas :) really good location if you're planning to go around askakusa and the skytree. Otherwise it's a bit far and doesnt use the JR or main subway lines.. Negative: The bed was very thin, the sink to brush your teeth...

Positive: Single Room was really nice! With lots of space at the bottom to put you luggage, and also a small desk with table lamp to do some work or reading! Bed was really sturdy (unlike most bunk beds), and was really comfortable as well!. Negative: Suggestion to have a few more clothes hanger (especially those that has a turn-able head)...

We really enjoyed our stay in Komatsuya. The traditional look of the building stood out among the modern characterless buildings around it. And the inside feels like it was frozen in time with traditional and vintage deco. The place is very warm and cozy. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location is great too, near Skytree and...
