One More Heart at TSUKIJI — Hotel in Tokyo

It is a pity as this hotel has a great location. They also provide extra supplies of tissue, disposable slippers, toothbrush/toothpaste, and cooking ingredients.

HOWEVER, I WOULD HIGHLY DISCOURAGE YOU FROM BOOKING THIS HOTEL!

First of all, the hotel is DIRTY. Unfortunately, I was not able to take photos. But let me describe how DIRTY the hotel is for you:

the carpet has moulds and stain the floor still has some dust especially on the corners the pillows and the duvet are already light brown instead of white white bedsheets are obviously very old the kitchen counter still had stain marks (cup / bottle marks) and sticky marks the fridge still had food crumbs from the previous occupants when wiped, all the shelves turned gray the shelves in the toilet still had soap marks theres a distinct stuffy smell in the whole unit the wallpaper is also not wiped and is quite old

Apart from the dirtiness, overall, the room and all its furniture/furnishings/appliances are all old and need to be changed.

Second, the Receptionist is ALWAYS away. He also doubles as a cleaner. Especially if you are a foreigner who does not speak Japanese, and you need urgent help, NO ONE will be there to help you. The lobby/receptionist room is messy. That's not the first thing you want to see when you check-in.

Third, the OWNER/MANAGEMENT is rude and will scream at you if you need to coordinate with them.

If you want your Japan experience to be great, STAY AWAY...

This is a scam, don't fall for it. Thieves!!!! We wanted to stay in this guest house because we saw good rooms and good reviews in the photo, but in reality it is terrible!!! A very, very dirty room with dust everywhere, the mirror is such that you can't even see yourself in it, and there are traces of the anthem in the toilet. They haven't cleaned it for months, all the photos are not even close to what is in reality. We immediately went down to the hall in order to give up the room and to get our money back because we didn't want to stay there....to which they said that they would not refund anything and that we should deal with the booking. After writing to the booking, they answered us that the guest house refuses to refund the money. we lost more than almost 500€. We stayed here for 15 nights and yes the rooms are a bit aged and the rooms arnt cleaned daily. But having been to Japan before this was quite typical. The point is you are in Tokyo you want somewhere to sleep at night and this suits the job perfectly for the price. The location is great 5 minutes walk to the nearest station and you with in 30 mins via train from all of your main attractions the room has everything you need, heated toilet utensils washing machine shower mini bath. For the price we paid 140,000 yen for 15 nights it is a bargain. If you want your room cleaned everyday and pristine mirrors go ahead and book a 5 star hotel but I'd personally rather spend my money on beer and some of the finest food...
