Extremely Poor Service, Be Cautious before you book your stay here ! As a tourist , I felt I was deceived. The name of the place is Monday Apartments Premium, Ginza Shintomicho - The name Ginza felt deceiving as the place is few km's away from the main Ginza 6 market . We booked a higher category room, but still they do not provide any basic amenities like a Shower Cap . Even for a dental kit, you are expected to go down to the conceirge and collect the same . The rooms have no phones to even connect with the Reception. Please be mindful they do not provide a Cleaning service everyday, only Once in 3 days, That too in our stay was missed. On the 4th day when the room was cleaned it was in a mess, Empty beer cans still lying, dirty cups not washed, plastics around the basin etc .. Pictures attached. It's a shame. Although they have trained their staff very well to be apologetic. The staff said Sorry, multiple times, but no use to us. First you do not clean our room, and when you clean what you get is rubbish. Their bathrooms did not have hot water, So we were expected to go to another room with our clothes and toiletries for a shower then come back to our room ? Really ? I thought these were basics to be checked before handing over a higher category room to a customer . They do not even provide change of water bottles in the room The communication skills of the staff is extremely poor, Probably not appropriate for tourists/ foreign visitors .  It would be a waste of your time to ask for any recommendation /suggestion of things to do around in Tokyo .No help / guidance provided . Our hotel is Kyoto was 40% cheaper than Monday Apartment, but the service was 140% better. Outstanding staff, rooms were awsum , excellent amenities , impeccable service I wonder if this is the service in a higher category room, what would have happened if we had booked a base level room Will highly recommend to check other properties before booking this one .

Among many residential hotel options in Japan I highly recommend Gate Stay. They are very thoughtfully designed, efficient, and almost all are newly opened. Staffs are all multilingual and very kind - I’m impressed with the management and their training. Kitchen is fully equipped including IH cooktop, full size fridge, microwave, rice cooker, electric kettle, all the basic cooking gears including cutting knife, and even fancy Bermuda toaster oven. I am also impressed that glassware and dishes are stylish ones such as Bodum and Noritake. Full size dining table with chairs (not sofa - this is important for desk work!) and it’s great working desk too, along with HD TV which I used as 2nd monitor for my Mac. (Bring your own HDMI cable) Mattress are comfortable and 3rd and 4th beds are foldable which can be used as sofa - very smart design. Good size bathtub + sophisticated shower head, full automatic washing machine with dryer in the washing room. Definitely better than AirB&B stay as they clean the room/ garbages periodically, change towels etc. as well as receiving packages from Amazon when you are out. This new location also has a larger room with Tatami section!! where you can stay 5 people. (Standard room is for 4) 24 hour mini supermarket (bigger than regular convenience store) is 10 second walk! You can also walk to Tsukiji and Higashi Ginza area easily.

We stayed here for 10 days in a king-size room, and I loved that each room came with a fully-equipped kitchen, washer, and dryer - everything worked smoothly. The service was like an apartment, and we'd just drop off everything at the reception. The only downside was that there's only one elevator. One thing that didn't quite work for me was the carpeted floors on the main areas (except for the toilet, bathroom, and tatami room) - especially in the kitchen. The supermarket right across the street was a lifesaver, and there's another Aeon supermarket ( the small one ) just a short walk away. The station is also nearby, but keep in mind that this place is in Shintomicho-Ginza, not exactly in the heart of Ginza (Ginza it's a big area!). The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the room was cleaned every three days. Overall, I didn't experience any major issues.
