Fantastic! Another diamond! The food was top notch! Prepared very well, cooked like a professional. A tad bit under seasoned, but being a restaurant within the hospital grounds, maybe they are considering guests with hypertension? Everything that was brought out was delicious and visually appealing. The view is gorgeous. Might cause a touch of anxiety if you have a fear of heights, but if you sit in the middle of the dining room, then you would be ok. The dining room was dominated by glass looking outside on both the left and the right side when you enter the dining area. You would have to tilt your head back to see where the glass stops. There are steps at the entry and to the restrooms, so that would cause trouble for wheelchair bound and elderly. The restroom step is also difficult to see because it’s half the height of a standard step and it is off white color that blends into each other so that you don’t see it. The service was polite and well trained. There were enough waiters and everyone was polite and attentive, seeing to every individual’s need. Well dressed and uniform in appearance. The only reasons for non 5 star would be 1) the unpolished clear glassware, 2) the damage to corners here and there, 3) the freezing temperature in the dining room during the winter, 4) the coat hanger/storage area crowd when more than one table finishes (once again only winter), 5) and the waitress super soft voices when explaining the dishes and the menu. I could not hear her at all. There was only soft background instrumental music and ambient Japanese dining room conversation. Don’t get me wrong. This place is an experience. Very cheap considering the atmosphere and quality of the food and service. The place must have been made as a banquet room for functions, weddings, and private events, but decided to open a restaurant to make better use and to be more cost effective. I would go...
Read moreWe reserved for a table close by the window so we can see Tokyo view but they gave us another table. So we asked the waiter to move us to another empty table, he was mumbling and walked away so we thought that he was going to come back to us and prepare for another table. We were standing for about 10 minutes and no one come to us. He didn't come back. Note : The Resto wasn't busy at all. We saw only 2 tables occupied with customers. The rest were empty. So we just sat on one of an empty place near the window and waiter came and told us that the table is reserved. So we moved to another table in the middle. Long story short, We ate and stayed in the resto for about 2 hours (until midnight) and the funny part was that no other customer come during our dinner there. So who reserved all of those tables?. We were so dissapointed that they lied about the reserved tables...
Read moreFor such a good ambiance the food was a letdown. We went here for lunch because it was near St. Luke's. My husband ordered the pasta with bacon and eggplant. It was so oily that the oiliness overpowered the taste of it.
Mine was pasta with salmon. It was better and at least tastier than the other but not something I would be overjoyed to eat. I would not recommend the pasta to anyone. 😐 The salad was not that fresh and dressing was too plain I wanted to pour the soup just so it could have taste. 😂 Soup was ok. Prolly best of the lot. Would...
