Really enjoyed our stay here, the staff are so friendly!
We stayed in both a standard double and superior room that we got a good deal on. We actually even liked the smaller room better because there was a desk table we could do remote work from. They even kindly moved our bags from one room to another so we didn't have to worry about checking out and check in again and could go wander Tokyo.
We were also able to work comfortably from the downstairs common area because most people who stay here go out to see Tokyo during the day, it's busier downstairs in the evening.
Was great to walk around the neighbourhood in an area where it seems a lot of locals live. Visited a few bakeries nearby and we went to all the bigger grocery stores nearby which were between 8-12 mins to walk to, all with great prepared food.
Subway H line Minowa station is super close walking, and there's buses nearby too. Walked to Asakusa as well easily, about 20 mins.

Read moreThe private rooms at this hostel were spacious! I stayed in the two bed room with a friend and we had lots of room. However, room is only rated 3 star due to odours found in the bedding. My bed was okay, but my friend’s had a worse odour. Additionally, the room seemed to be very humid in a strange way. We would leave for a day and the beds and our clothing would feel very slightly damp. This may just be a symptom of the very hot summer conditions.
The staff here are friendly, and the common area was nice.
The common area is open from 8am-11pm. The front desk is staffed for the same hours.
There is floor specific WiFi so you have good connection anywhere in the building.
Amenities are available as shown in the photo, and first towel is free.
It is about 5 minutes walk to Ryusen bus station, and 10 minutes walk to Minowa subway station. You can easily get to popular areas like Asakusa, Akihabara, Ueno, Tsukiji, with...
Read moreI had a fantastic stay at this hostel! Located in a quiet neighborhood, it gave me the feeling of being a local as I walked around. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby, and the local supermarket offers a variety of ready-to-eat foods at half price late at night. I felt completely safe walking around by myself, even at night. The hostel itself was very nice. Although our room only had a small window, it was more than enough for our needs. There was ample space to open two large suitcases, and everything was spotless. The shared washroom was always clean, and I never had to wait for a shower despite the hotel being mostly booked. The front desk staff was friendly and spoke perfect English, which made check-in and any inquiries super easy. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay—I’d definitely...
