Good: convinient location; close to train station and airport
Bad: This hotel’s cleanness is horrible, worst I’ve ever seen among all hotel I stayed. Whole room is having those old museum humid and bacterial smell. Their bed sheet was dirty and yellow and broken with holes, bed cover was also very yellow, and I try to lift bed cover, a weird smell coming out and I sneezed hard…. I wore long sleeping pants to sleep but still felt too itchy that stayed awake whole night. And my hand got bitten somehow. Next day I requested a room change and front desk Kim said they can clean for me only. They changed a new bed sheet and cover for me. But that night I still couldn’t sleep because room still smells very bad which gave me huge headache even tho I had window opened for few hours. I had to go to front desk at 4am finally they changed a room for me, they said they offered me an upgrade. Maybe new room is ok, or maybe I was too tired, my headache stopped and gradually I fell asleep for few hours Third night I still couldn’t sleep all night because bed was too hard. I had to check out one day ahead and book another hotel. Of course pay double. They (another staff at front desk at that moment) didn’t refund me didn’t even ask why I checked out early.
So I couldn’t sleep three nights in a row and it completely ruined my days and trip in Tokyo. They only apologise and can’t even understand English. I can also apologise and someone stay two nights up for me? This is very ridiculous! As a hotel they can’t even offer clean room and bed, and refused to change room at the beginning.
My room was 1003, best avoided. Also, bed is super hard like you are sleeping on a rock! For who cares about cleanness and comfy bed, this is not the...
Read moreThis hotel is quiet, very clean and comfortable to stay. It was a solo trip so the single room was rather small but I loved their high water pressure massage shower! 3 min walk from Keikyu Kamata station which is only 6 stations away from Haneda Airport(or 1 stop for Airport Express) and very convenient. It’s about 10 min walk to JR Kamata station which has everything for dining and shopping, it’s very safe and walkable. Mega Donki (Don Quixote department store) here supposed to be the 2nd largest in metro Tokyo, but not too crowded. There’s a smaller Donki store at Keikyu Kamata station also and it was very convenient. Keikyu Kamata station side has less stores and restaurants but enough for tourists needs to eat and shop, and “combini” (convenience stores) are everywhere! It was very comfortable stay at Tokyu Stay Kamata. Though it is a 3-stars hotel, service is polished, not too much or too less, it was just right and professional and sophisticated, the excellence of thorough employee training at major corporations specializing in transportation and tourism was clearly evident. However the cost to stay was very affordable compared to the service they provided. I recommend this hotel to everyone. It was a very tranquil and comfortable stay, and I truly enjoyed my experiences while I stayed there for two nights before flying out from Haneda Airport. Thank you, Tokyu...
Read moreI have stayed at Tokyu Stay Hotel Kamata several times, and it has always been an excellent experience. The floor staff are exceptionally friendly and professional, making me feel welcome every time. The hotel is impeccably clean, with great attention to detail in maintaining a comfortable and hygienic environment.
The location is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from Kamata Station, making it easy to get around Tokyo. Additionally, the area is bustling with plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants, offering a wide range of options for dining and shopping. I like dine in at Chodo restaurant not far from the hotel. A must try restaurant .
Overall, I highly recommend Tokyu Stay Hotel Kamata for its outstanding service, cleanliness, and prime location. It’s always a pleasure...
