Tamachi Station — Local services in Tokyo

Don’t stop here if you’re a foreigner lol. We got a little confused about the trains and we couldn’t get past the gate. I went to the counter for help with my issue typed out in Japanese on my translator. The guy at the counter just glanced at my phone, got mad and just said “NAI NAI NAI NAI!”. He didn’t let us through essentially trapping us on the platforms. I get it, I live in a tourist-heavy place too but there’s no need to be RUDE and just straight up not do his job.

He didn’t even attempt to help us, meanwhile other station workers have been patient and use the provided device they have to communicate through translator. A nice older worker on the other side of the station...

Tamachi Station is one of the medium scale JR stations in Tokyo. Tamachi station facilitates for Keihintohoku (Blue) and Yamanote (Green) JR Lines. This station is bit crowded during the peak hours. 【 2022/02/23(水㊗️)利用 】 JR田町駅は、1909年(明治42年)12月16日に開業した、東京都港区芝5丁目にあるJR山手線と京浜東北線が乗り入れる駅です。北改札と南改札がありますが、どちらでも同じ場所に出ます。

都営三田線・浅草線への乗り換えは三田口(西口)側ですが、A4出口から地下へ入ってしまうと、浅草線の改札までは5分くらいですが、三田線の改札に辿り着くまでには、階段の上り下りや長〜い通路などがあって😅💦約10分くらい歩くことになってしまいます🚶‍♀️💦 ので、三田線へ乗り換える場合は、田町駅の三田口(西口)から第一京浜(国道15号)を右方向(浜松町方面)へ進み、「芝5丁目」の信号を左方向の日比谷通りの方へ進むと都営三田線の改札に近いA8・ A9・ A10出口があり、 ここまで徒歩🚶‍♀️約6分で、A8から入って階段を下りると目の前に改札が現れます。

三田口(西口)側には、それ以外に「森永乳業本社(森永プラザビル本館)」や 喫煙所🚬(※「電子タバコエリア」と「紙タバコエリア」に分かれています)、第一京浜を高輪ゲートウェイ(泉岳寺)方面へ5分くらい歩くと🚶‍♀️「札の辻(ふだのつじ)」という信号(歩道橋)がありますが、札の辻は江戸時代、東海道から江戸への正面入口であり、元和2年には芝口門という門が建てられました。 札の辻という名称は、ここに高札場(こうさつば)が設けられて、布告法令などが掲示されたことによります。信号近くに立看板があって、その旨の解説がされています。 あと、「慶應義塾大学」もこちらの方面です❗️

歴史好きな方へ→第一京浜を、札の辻とは反対方向(浜松町方面)へ3分くらい歩くと🚶‍♀️、勝海舟と西郷隆盛が江戸無血開城について2回目の会見をしたという薩摩藩屋敷跡に石碑が建てられています。が… 自分が訪れた時(2022/02/23)は高層ビルの工事中🚧の為、石碑は何処か他の場所で保管中と書かれてありまして、石碑を見る👀ことは出来ませんでした😅💦 ...
