Came to Yokohama for the rugby world cup and there wasn't much choice around. Remarkably, I found this place, which is super close to the stadium. ||This hotel is totally old school - not that the asset is THAT old, perhaps 15-20 years I guess, but it just seemed designed for a different era - from drab hallways to plain-jane lift to step-up modular bathrooms. ||My room did NOT look anything like the room pics which the property put forward on Tripadvisor!!!! Far from it! It was a room from the 80s!||The room key is a REAL key - on a plastic dongle. The bathrooms seems very old, the staff was not the most helpful. I asked them if they can print our boarding passes and they said no. Ok, I understand it is not their job to do so. but surely they could have been more helpful. When we check in they were saying we can pay at the checkout. But everyday when we went to reception they were asking for payment as if we would run away. I didnt like this for a bit. And second day we came after long day arounf 21.00 and they didnt want to give the room key until we pay. Come on, I entered by credit card details. If I disappeared surely they could take it out from my card. I found the reception staff not Friendly at all. The room...

Only about a 5 minute easy walk to the station, this hotel is a great option for anyone staying in Yokohama or western Tokyo given its easy access to transport, including the airport limousine coach from Haneda Airport. We found our rooms to be very clean and well appointed, remembering that hotel rooms are not large. As a couple we had booked the double room, but would have been better with a twin given one side of the double was against the wall. The breakfast is downstairs in their restaurant and it was great selection of Japanese and international offerings. Staff are very friendly but speak very limited English. I would recommend this...
