This restaurant serves authentic Chinese food, it is labeled as a Peking duck restaraunt and their menu includes Peking duck, however it is only available during the week after 5 PM. English menu is not available, but google translate does a good job with the menu. Perhaps if duck has been available I would have given more stars!

It seems to be an extended part of the other 芳香園 on Arena street, but with larger space and more elaborate decoration. The taste, quality, and cost seem almost same. They have an extensive Lunch Menu which is served promptly. I tried the Lemon Chicken Set and loved every bite of it. Only thing that I found unsatisfactory were the side dishes- the Egg Soup and Almond Jelly were near tasteless. But considering the costs, no complaints.

2024/04/12 11:20頃　初訪問 ■陳マーボー豆腐ランチセット　980円 ▼現金払い　注文は座席で ここ1週間くらい麻婆豆腐を食べてないことに気付いたので、新横浜でまだ麻婆豆腐を食べてない中華屋はどこだろうと探してここに決めました。 店外でお弁当も売られてるようです。 中に入ると客は1人しかおらず、好きな席に座って良いと奥にいる店員さんにジェスチャーで説明されました。 とりあえず中央席に座りましたが、広い。とくにかく広いという印象を持ちます。カウンター席はなく、4〜6人掛けテーブルがたくさん設置されて隅には丸テーブル席もあります。宴会も充分できることでしょう。週末のイベント日でもない限りは混まないだろうなと思います。 店員さんは奥でずっと立っているだけなのようなので注文する場合は手を挙げるなり呼ぶ必要があります。 注文しておよそ2分後に提供されました。めちゃめちゃに早いです。 さすが老舗感がある中華屋は違うなと思って麻婆豆腐を口に含めると冷たかったです。まさか冷たいとは思ってもみなかったのでもう一度確かめるように食べてみたのですが、冷たかったのです。 おそらく作り置きしておいて注文きたら皿によそって運ぶだけにしているのでしょう。冷たい麻婆豆腐は初めての体験でした。 そして甘さが強いです。甜麺醤もあると思うのですが、ナッツ系の甘さを感じました。これで熱かったら美味しいんじゃないかなと思います。ちょっと残念でした。 対して中華スープは熱々でした。でしたが、とても甘かったです。砂糖でも入れてるのでしょうか。色々と衝撃なお店でした。 ご馳走様でした。

We made a reservation for a group of 4 at 2pm on a Saturday to eat Peking duck.

After sitting down and ordering, we were told that there was no duck. No explanation given. The place is quite literally named “Peking duck speciality restaurant”

Level of service was terrible. The place was dirty, toilets were filthy. We went to another Chinese restaurant and the experience was night...
