GRAND CAVE YOKOHAMA — Hotel in Yokohama

I had a very disappointing stay at this Airbnb. When I arrived, the room was not properly cleaned. There was noticeable dust and hair on the bed, as well as on the hanger. It felt very unclean, and I honestly did not feel comfortable lying on the bed at all. In fact, I chose not to use the bed during my stay because of the poor cleanliness.

What made the experience even worse was the fact that I paid a cleaning fee, yet the condition of the room was far from acceptable. I was shocked that despite paying extra for this fee, the room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. When I messaged the host to address the issue, they simply apologized, saying “sorry for the inconvenience,” with no further action taken. They also claimed that the hair probably stuck to the sheets during washing and promised it was definitely clean, but I could not understand why they would say that. The hair was so noticeable that it seemed impossible to have been missed, leaving me feeling very frustrated with the lack of attention to detail.

The communication with the host was extremely frustrating. I tried reaching out to them, but their responses were vague and unhelpful. They didn’t seem genuinely concerned about resolving the issue. When I requested a call via the iPad provided during check-in (since I didn’t have a local phone number), I was told I needed to contact an assistant via a phone number. This felt like an unnecessary obstacle, especially when a video call had already been used for check-in. The lack of willingness to accommodate my situation made the whole experience even more disappointing.

Besides, the staircase was narrow, and moving my luggage to the highest floor was exhausting and inconvenient, especially having heavy luggage.

The soundproofing was another issue. I could hear footstep, conversation, and movement around me.

For real, I expected much better than this especially considering i paid extra

But at least it is near...

The owner used a super wide camera to show the room is a way larger than what it actually is. It is cozy and clean plus affordable but the room is very small especially the toilet. Not sure how it can fit the legal building code. If you are traveling with four adults with suitcases, I would pay a bit more and go for a larger room. My kids and my wallet did...

市内のホテルを探していたら珍しく、今回は出掛けずにゆっくりと室内を堪能したくて利用しました。

前に民泊を利用した時に顔写真が必要だった場所で不安でしたが特に無く、事前に簡単な手続きをして当日を迎えました。

駅からは解りやすかった。 玄関でモタモタしてしまいました。 メール内容をしっかり読まないと解りにくいかと思います。 タブレットにてお手続きの際に少しオーナー？さんとカメラ通話でやり取りします。

お部屋に入って大満足です。 1人で贅沢に使えるのでしっかり堪能させて頂きました。 ソファーもベッドもふかふかで身体に合いました。 間接照明もあり、ゆっくりと寝る準備が出来ます。 それぞれの場所（ベッド3つ、ソファー）にコンセント、USBポート、電気スイッチがありすごいです。 ハンガーや洗濯物入れもあって連泊したくなりますね。

とはいえ、細かいことですが… おトイレはかなり狭いです。 水場は段差があります。 ベッドに上がる階段も下る際は怖い仕様ですね。 注意事項はしっかりしていますがトースターにはパンカスがありました。 開けるとすぐにありましたので気づかないとは考えにくいです。 食器類の消毒等しているのか疑問に思ってしまいました。

注意点はシャワーのみな事、歯ブラシ類は無い事、消臭スプレーは無い事、1階2階の方は上の足音など覚悟が必要な事（平日なら大丈夫かも？）でしょうか。

コンビニやパン屋さん（1分くらいに2店舗）があったので嬉しかったです。

とても素敵なのですがやっぱり足音など敏感なのと面倒な部分が気になるので...
