My wife and two young children stayed here. It was absolutely delightful. As soon as we arrived by car, a group of staff came out immediately to greet us warmly and helped us with our bags inside. The facade of the hotel is old, but don't let that fool you - the inside is renovated to delightful charm and grace. Our room was more like a suite with a separate living room, spacious bathroom and a really traditional little bathtub. The view from our room and the bath was also exceptional. The only thing to take away from the hotel was that you have to go up some very narrow winding and steep hills to get there. Also, the support arches inside are low. You'd have to duck to avoid hitting your head if you're tall, like 6 foot.
