Nonna Aisha B&B — Hotel in Maan

Staying here is like being at home and meeting Yousef is like meeting a longtime friend. There are no words to describe the authentic experience we had. We prolongued our stay because it was hard to leave! The rooms are clean, functional and we probably had the best shower in our life :) The common area is a dream with its big wood table and huge sofa. The kitchen is at your disposal with all its amenities and local products, as well as water, tea and coffee, which gave us amazing breakfasts! It's also the perfect place to meet people and have incredible chats. Yousef is a pure soul, an open encyclopedia, we could listen him for hours, enjoying him sharing his experience, culture and many advices with us, and Nonna Aisha and Yousef's sister have been so kind to us. Beside the house being just perfect, good wifi, easy to find and perfectly located to reach Petra by car, but also with a 15 min walk, what makes this place surreal are the people, warm and pure and so rare to find. We're so grateful for having the chance to stay here and meet Yousef, can't wait...

You have a knowledgeable spirit guide in here, that comes as a special extra. Thank you Yusuf for your kindness! Nonna Aisha took good care of us. All given directions before visiting the Petra monument were very helpful.

Our rooms were spacious and clean. (Obviously heating is expenssive in the winter and one should take care of that, by wearing warm winter pyjamas. Writing that, since I read other's review. If you want winter heating in your room in Mediterranean and Middle East accomodations, you go for a 5 star hotel). Hot shower in the morning was possible.

Breakfast was more than enough of choice that one can take freely. You have vegan options and fresh fruits!

Location has nice backyard garden and city overview. Return from Petra hike back in the evening would be good with a car. Yusef picked us up and showed us the best food places. I wish to...

Yousef, the owner, is a person of incredible kindness and hospitality. He goes out of his way (really everything) to make you feel at home and is very willing to chat and answer any questions. He told us so many things about Jordan and its people and this represented an invaluable added value to our trip. Furthermore, the structure is very clean, large and quiet and Yousef really makes available to guests any delicacy (to be able to consume breakfast, lunch and dinner independently). In short....
