Fresh and clean hotel/hostel. The showers had great water pressure, slippers were provided, and the storage lockers were large (no need to bring your own lock—my 40L backpack and daypack fit without any issues).

The reception staff were friendly, although their English was quite limited. It wasn’t a major problem, but worth noting. I booked through Booking.com, and the only real issue was that they initially tried to charge me more than the listed price. However, I pointed it out and they corrected it. They do accept card payments.

The atmosphere wasn’t particularly social or lively, but that may just depend on the other guests staying there at the time.

There are USB charging ports inside the capsule, which is convenient, but unfortunately, no standard power sockets—so I couldn’t charge all of my devices.

This was the worst hostel of my life!! I came here from Almaty and had booked a stay here for 2 nights so I reached here at 10am as the check in time was 12pm. I requested the receptionist of this hostel to let me sit in the common area of ​​the hostel for 2 hours because Astana was completely new to me and I was traveling alone and the temperature outside was -22 degrees.
