Kima hills Hotel Nairobi — Hotel in Nairobi

The stuff are welcoming but the rooms are super small and with no windows and for a claustrophobic person this is the nightmare you'll never recover from. Hot show doesn't work and TV is Pathetic!! Only 2 channels out of 5 work that's citizen and a certain gospel channel. Wifi is okay for checking emails not Netflix or YouTube just incase sleep evades you or you're bored of 2 channels. The Switch is at the door so you have to wake up and go switch off lights before you wander in the darkness to find bed. What else I'm i missing.... The soaps! Those things are Toxic beyond nuclear waste! They contain everything they shouldn't contain!

This is one of those hotels you sleep in coz you're broke and below this price point in Nairobi you might as well sleep in a dungeon! If you can afford atleast 1,000 ksh or 2,000 ksh above this price point choose it and save yourself some bad memories.

Although sited in a very clumsy and busy area downtown Nairobi, Kima hotel boasts one of the best team of hospitable staffs, from the reception to the middle management. Well groomed and descent housekeeping, restaurant and bar staffs, they just make you feel homely.... Foods are served freshed, takes about 20mins from your time of order to get served, you'll get the food hot and fresh. Neatness and courteousness gives a good edge in the restaurant and hotel premise. Security level is intermediate. But Management has to improve on fumigation procedures to eliminate mosquitoes! It's a nice place to start your visit before moving uptown. I give Kima hotel a 4...

Very good accomodation for the price. Rooms are furnished with modern beds and toilet facilities and it's a quiet area where you can actually have proper rest. (something not so easy to find is town center for affordable prices) The matress was soo good that even though there was a white noise on the background due to the generator... I slept like a rock.The water was not super hot but it was warm enough. The breakfast was very fulfilling and the staff was very nice.
