Precious Hotel Nairobi — Hotel in Nairobi

Worst hotel in East and Central Africa. Poor customer service. TV doesn't work and you are told to deal with it. Dirty, full of cockroaches and insects I guess no fumigation has ever been done. No replenishing of tissues. Management doesn't care whether a guest complains to them money is the key thing. Bedsheets are brown in colour a clear sign of poor hygiene standards. Staff work in fear of being deducted money if they do a new room change. Some training needs to be done to management and the hotel owners on importance of customer care and good customer retention tactics. The hotel is quite close to several matatu stops, so that it's a confortable accomodation for a quick stop in Nairobi. We had some little problems at the arrival since the rooms were not as described online (in the hotel there are single and triple rooms available, not double), but the personnel was willing to find a fitting solution.||A suggestion: try to get the rooms that face the street and not the internal court.||The rooms were quite clean and confortable. Not ideal for foreigners please it's not safe for you though I've seen one at the restaurant and he has left his laptop and gone upstairs. Food and bar places are separated and I like that idea. The waiters are very friendly. I like the hooks under the table where you can stretch your tied legs. I don't know about the rooms, but this place doesn't do it for me.
