MADIBA COTTAGE — Hotel in Ukunda ward

Madiba and its staff was great but we were forced to go there at night from a next door hotel.

Our original booking was at Karibu Palms through their manager Steven. When we were close to arriving he switched off his phone and he wasn’t around.

The hotel said they were full even though Steven reserved for us 3 weeks before coming. They didn’t even have a reservation for us. Steven forced us to go across the street. We had no choice at 9pm and after two flights and a long drive from Mombasa we were frustrated and tired.

Also Steven runs a tour guide company and multiple times he pressured us to book a tour; I think not wanting a tour affected his treatment toward us.

He promised us late check out, but on our last day he calls early morning to tell us to leave as soon as we can. What a joke.

Karibu Palms and Madiba shouldn’t have management that doesn’t care about...

The best sample of excellent hospitality, Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, I really loved staying at this cottage. I had a large room and Swimming pool. Beds were very comfortable .i will definitely recommend...

The Worst Experience Ever.... The place is nice but the management and customer service is the worst Ever.. except...
