I was at hotel opera for 1 week and I have mixed feelings about it. It looks quite fancy for the area but for me the promise from glossy pictures doesnât hold. The room I had was very small. It was only a little bigger than the bed plus a quite small bathroom where it was even hard to turn around without bumping into something. First day the bathroom had a really bad smell because of a dried out siphon that let through all the smell from the pipes. I was able to fix this by simply pouring some water into it. No one checked the room before I arrived because that issue was so obvious that you could turn green because of it. The pillows in the bed remembered me about some stones because they were that hard. Couldnât sleep very well because of that. Breakfast also felt a bit weird. Itâs in the -2 floor and arriving there felt weird. Didnât feel welcome there at all and for me it was the typical feeling that I am causing work and therefor I am annoying. There are just a few tables most donât touch and then you are presented a very used card I would prefer not to touch to choose from two options. Sure this a la card wastes less resources but it simply didnât include my normal breakfast. The two stars I give are for the really nice receptionist with the long black hear. She was very helpful, really nice and always...
Read moreWe stayed here for 2 nights while travelling through the Balkans recently. The original room we booked was very small, but it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. ||We had issues with the air-conditioning in our room and wouldn't get lower than 30C, even after the receptionist had arranged for maintenance to come out and fix it. As it was extremely hot, and I was suffering with slight heatstroke, the receptionist changed us to a different room on the second floor, which was not only bigger, but the air-conditioning was working perfectly. We really appreciated this quick resolution to our problem and made our final night in Pristina much more enjoyable.||Breakfast wasn't really to our taste and there is as very little on the buffet, anything hot needed to be ordered from the kitchen and bread and pasty baskets were brought to your table. There was also a plate of various things from meats, cheeses etc .. that were brought out to everyone when you're seated. I feel this can cause a lot of food wastage as we didn't eat this on either day. Again, personal taste and nothing to do with quality. The coffee was fantastic though. ||We would definitely stay here again, but likely go out...
Read moreHidden treasure in a PrĂstina Kosovo. The hotel was incredibly charming and unique. The room was comfortable and accommodating. We had a cute balcony as well. The manager, Mirson, was amazing and ensured that everything was perfect. He made excellent suggestions and arranged for our transportation needs. The breakfast was intimate and delicious. We accidentally met Ermal Ismari outside the front door and he was so helpful and we never knew until later that he was the owner. He should be proud to have such an awesome place. The whole experience made PrĂstina even...
