I don't know where to start! First, we arrived at the hotel at 4:00 AM. We had confirmed our booking with the hotel days in advance, ensuring that the rooms would be ready by 2:00 AM since we had paid for an early check-in. However, upon arrival, the hotel staff told us there was no such thing as early check-in and that the hotel was fully booked. They simply said, "Sorry, we have no rooms for you!" So, what exactly did we pay for? Thankfully, we had a confirmation email with all the details to prove our case. We requested the manager's intervention to resolve the issue. She kept apologizing and went on to explain her life story-which we honestly didn't care about. What we needed was a solution! We suggested they either find us a room or book us into another hotel, as it was their fault. Initially, she refused but eventually booked us into a cheap hotel that wasn't even in the same category as the one we had originally booked. Naturally, we refused that option. After further discussions, she agreed to refund the early check-in fees for both rooms and offered us one night's free stay. Additionally, she provided one room for all of us to stay in temporarily until our booked rooms were ready. Reluctantly, we accepted this compromise. During checkout, we asked for the refund that had been promised. The manager changed her story, claiming she had reviewed security footage and saw that we had entered a room, so she would only refund the early check-in fee for one room. After a heated argument, she finally refunded the fee for one early check-in room and the cost of one night's stay if one room. While processing the refund, she had the audacity to say she had given us more than we deserved and added, "I even gave you breakfast!" This was ridiculous because breakfast was already included in our booking. She didn't "give" us anything—just more lies!
The entire experience was unprofessional and appalling. We do not recommend this hotel to anyone. They are unreliable, untrustworthy, and even the food was terrible. The management needs to replace the current manager, as she is clearly unfit...
Read morePositives: The location is quite nice. We found many interesting places to visit quite close to the hotel, including some famous restaurants, malls and museums. The price was significantly cheaper than other Hilton Hotels in Kuwait. Personnel was very kind and helpful in all matters. I would say personnel was the best thing about this hotel. They were there whenever we needed them.
Negatives: The hotel is quite small. Rooms are quite tight. Because of this, I had to add another room to my booking at reception after my arrival as I was told that the room I booked is quite tight for a family of 5. After booking another similar room, I had a connecting room and obviously had to pay twice the amount of original booking. This brought the overall price to the same place with other expensive hotels. I think I could have booked other Hilton Hotels with this price in Kuwait city. They did not have an available upgrade for the Hilton Honors member. This was another surprize to me as I usually get an upgrade whenever I ask for it in other Hilton Hotels.
The breakfast was just ok. It had very limited options and same options every day. But we managed this by taking different things every day. I guess, though, this is fine for a 3-star hotel. They were doing a great job for a 3-star hotel. Consider booking the room without breakfast though. You can have a much better breakfast outside in closeby...

Special thanks to Ms. Ameera, the Hotel Manager, whose hands-on leadership ensured everything was perfect. Ahmed, the Sales Executive, was incredibly helpful. Note—the waffles are absolutely amazing! Whether it was an early breakfast before a busy day or a quick bite to satisfy my cravings, those waffles never disappointed. They were the highlight of my mornings!
The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The hotel’s prime location in Salmiya, with easy access to key areas, added to the convenience of my stay. Every little detail was handled with care, making this one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had.
