I love Lala chicken the Most until yesterday when I tried to buy sandwiches with garlic sauce
I was given garlic sauce that was old and even the cover opens by itself more than once because it s old justified by gas from bacteria pops it up spontaneously, I wanted to enjoy the new fresh garlic sauce with the sandwich but all I got was old smelly ones that caused me diarrhea!
-not all guys on cashier are nice, the guy that was yesterday was rude, and gave me back dollars exchange teared dollars exchange while I gave him very proper new dollar currency, when I asked him politely with a smile to change it to better one he gave even worse one and didn’t even bother to help, I reasked him nicely that I gave him good one why to get teared ones he said he doesn’t have and then gave me other ones with one more teared with a bad look and a bad way that made it hard for me to ask him for adjustment! Rude to the degree that he doesn’t even reply to my thanks and with horrible body language as well! While other ones used to be very kind polite and welcoming!
I hope lala chicken comes back to how it used to be, this is a decent restaurant with ancient name and we don’t want it to ve changed due to bad reputation because of some occasional cashier staff. We come to enjoy food once in while we don’t want to be treated rudely or be given rotten garlic sauce that previously was the most famous and delicious...
Read moreI was attracted by its history, which dates back to 1967. The design and interior is very new and modern. There was no shawarma, but there were chicken sandwiches that appeared similar to shawarma. I asked the cashier if she had a shawarma, but she told me there was no shawarma. Even though I pointed out the photo on the counter that looked like shawarma, she denied that it was shawarma and said it was a sandwich. The grilled chicken certainly had a different taste to shawarma, but it looked sizzling and fresh. The well baked and crispy bread was my favourite one, just like a shawarma.
Unfortunately, the cashier working as a floor lady was constantly distracted by her mobile phone screen, chatting to regulars coming in, even when the food was ready across the counter from the kitchen. Eventually, a member of the kitchen staff rang the bell, but the lady didn't even notice the sound. So I had to come over to the counter to get the food.
The restaurant business consists of product taste, price, atmosphere, and service. In this case, unfortunately, it is a typical example of poor service ruining any impression of the product...
Read moreToday (17/3/2025) my friend and I were placing an order over the phone from Beirut, Achrafieh branch. The girl at the call center answered our call. My friend was the one speaking on the phone, and he asked her, “Can you please send us the menu on WhatsApp?” Her response was, “fik ten2eber tfut tshuf l menu on Instagram”
My friend was surprised and asked her to repeat what she said, and she replied again with the same rude phrase before hanging up on him. A few minutes later, she called back and asked, “Aren’t you Adnan?” My friend was confused and asked, “Who’s Adnan?” It turned out that she had mistaken him for someone else, assuming he was a guy she knew.
This is completely unprofessional behavior. No matter who is calling, a customer service representative should remain polite and professional, not talk to customers in this manner. She could have at least asked, “Who am I speaking with?” instead of responding so rudely.
I wanted to share this review regarding the girl you had at the call center tonight. This kind of customer service is...
