China Club — Restaurant in Rmeil

I've visited this restaurant 5 times so far for open buffet. Every time we went, we really enjoyed our visit, except our last time. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Cozy place. Tasty Chinese food. Good variety. I wouldn't recommend Sushi. Execpt this time, we were really disappointed, even though the staff were really nice but many items were missing from the open buffet. The fried spring rolls and the sesame toast were late to be served. And once the portion they served finished, they didn't refill the plate. Some of the people with us didn't get any. There was an extra charge for the drinks and there were no fruits neither dessert available even though drinks, fruits and dessert were always included before. Tried the place for the Sushi and Chinese buffet, and was really disappointed. The sushi pieces were tiny, with heavily starchy rice, and it was obvious that they had been sitting in the fridge for a while. The Chinese food was oily and bland. Ingredients looked and tasted like they came out of an economy can or freezer pack. They served us an unlabelled bottle of white wine with a reused cork, and it took us one sip to decide not to drink anymore. Even the price ($25 per person, open buffet) isn't that competitive compared to other Chinese restaurants or Sushi...

Food is okay, sushi isn't that good. The restaurant is extremely understaffed, there waiter just looks at you when you call him and continues walking away, the manager/owner seems stressed out, we got the open sushi and Chinese offer and it took 30 min and we only got 8pcs of sushi each, we were 2 people. I went up to the waiter multiple times to ask for more sushi and he ignored the request. Price is fair but service...
