A small shop towards the end of Gemmayze, sunshiny energy blooming from inside, with ultimate care and hospitality. Prepare yourself to be amazed! An old shop turned into a warm cafe, rough interiors, smoothed by hues of different shades of blue and a velvet touch. The open bar is where you can watch all preparations done, an outside terrace and adjacent tables. Maya and Omar passing around with warm smiles to ensure that everyone is satisfied. A must try their Chai and Matcha lattes sweetened by luscious dessert from @dbbakescakes. You can also enjoy a small slection of bagels and salads with fresh produce.

Unacceptable service. Staff are high over the clouds that can't even get one job done. We went there to buy two packs of roasted coffee, the pack is more than 20 dollars, the employee filled empty packs with the two origins that we chose and said this is Mexican and this Guatemalan. He didn't even bother to add the labels on the packs to differentiate them. When we complained he took two other origin labels and started sticking them on the packs. First of all, the details of the coffee is wrong and second the packs looked like they were prepared by a 2 year old. The rest of the staff couldn't bother to look into our problem to an extent that I had to raise my voice and make a scene. When I asked for the owner, everyone started to look the other way to not answer one simple question. I had to leave with two packs of coffee and I don't even know which one is which. It was stupid of me to have paid before I received my full complete order. A very memorable disappointing experience that costed me 45 dollars. And for what? I came to sip based on word of mouth knowing that I won't be disappointed. But what a shame. What a huge shame. As a coffee roaster, I do not recommend this place at all.

Very nice place with a big selection of coffees and one of the very few places that offers a matcha latte in Beirut. The quality is inconsistent though. Sometimes the drinks are well prepared from the first time, some other times, the drinks are done in a very random way. Still, when giving the feedback to the waiters, they were nice enough to ask the barista to do it again and serve me another drink on the house. They took the feedback and blamed it on the fact that the place is still new. Hope they can adjust better for the future and raise their quality standards in the drinks they prepare.

I love the aesthetics and calm vibes of this place. Cappuccino is good, eventhough it depends who makes it I guess, because it's not always the same. If only the service was better I would have given 5 stars. Baristas and guys in service always have a bad attitude. You enter the room and nobody says hi or smile, it's really annoying. It takes ages for them to take order, it makes me wonder every time if it's self service or not...Put a sign if yes !

We love Sip coffee. The staff is super friendly and always has a smile for you. The coffee is great and they also offer a changing menu of fresh juices/ smoothies. It also has a cute backyard. Great Wi-Fi connection for Lebanon, which made life admin on a computer easier. Thanks Sip team for many great mornings and afternoons! Also give the fresh ginger ale a try if you look for something refreshing to cool down from Beirut’s summer heat.

I love sip! From the friendly staff to the great drinks. The interior is great, old Lebanese tiles, original walls of the traditional building, high ceiling with glass opening in the middle that lets in sun light. The way the espresso machine is placed is the way I love it, so the barista doesn’t give you his/her back! Great coffee, amazing carrot cake!!! I love the vibes at sip, I go work, have some good coffee enjoy the vibes!
