I may be too strict for a one star rating, but here's the deal: Given the ambiance of the place and how everything feels like it's based around good coffee, then I get about one of the worst coffees I've had in a long while... Their cold brew could not have been watered down more! It literally had no flavor at all!! I'd dare say Starbucks has better coffee! Furthermore, why is there no option for self service? That's my favorite part about a coffee shop - go in, get my coffee, ask the barista for any specialty or have a small chit chat about coffee, then mind my own business until I'm ready to go. Their table service is not that good as well... And my last reason for a 1 star rating is the limited seating options, they focused on looks rather than blending them with ergonomics, I was not comfortable sitting there!
This place only exists and has such a high rating due to the recent trend of third wave coffee around the country, and people going there not knowing what that even means or what to expect, and enjoying their Instagram posts or being part of a "hip" trend. Out of all similar coffee places that opened recently, I'd say this is the worst.
Recommendations: Stop the table service, it's a coffee shop! Bala mehen. Much better coffee, by miles, ASAP. Especially if you want to sell me some beans which took half of your menu in space. Much more...
Read moreUnacceptable service. Staff are high over the clouds that can't even get one job done.
We went there to buy two packs of roasted coffee, the pack is more than 20 dollars, the employee filled empty packs with the two origins that we chose and said this is Mexican and this Guatemalan. He didn't even bother to add the labels on the packs to differentiate them.
When we complained he took two other origin labels and started sticking them on the packs. First of all, the details of the coffee is wrong and second the packs looked like they were prepared by a 2 year old.
The rest of the staff couldn't bother to look into our problem to an extent that I had to raise my voice and make a scene. When I asked for the owner, everyone started to look the other way to not answer one simple question. I had to leave with two packs of coffee and I don't even know which one is which. It was stupid of me to have paid before I received my full complete order.
A very memorable disappointing experience that costed me 45 dollars. And for what? I came to sip based on word of mouth knowing that I won't be disappointed. But what a shame.
What a huge shame.
As a coffee roaster, I do not recommend this...
Read moreTo be honest the service at this place is terrible. 2 dudes that seems to be super lazy that doesn’t feel like working and are barely doing anything. Personally i didn’t ask them for much as i was observing them most of the time, also one thing i really can handle is the lack of hygiene these dudes are handling food and taking money from the hands of the people. When i came to pay, that was the issue i paid them what i had to pay, and to be honest i didn’t order much just one tea, for 400k LBP, he asked me if i had change i told him i do but i need it as i was about to hop on into a taxi. So i gave him a 20$ bill he gave me back 15$, so i asked one of the guys working here about it, as he was supposed to give me back 16$, his answer was yes i don’t have change to give, i said ok and i left. Now a dollar might not be a lot and people might think that i’m making an issue out of a dollar, but it’s more of a question of principles. In any country in the world they would run to try to give you back your change, this guy...
