i have no freakin idea whatsoever how the average rating for this hotel is 3/5 stars here.OH MY GOD,here are what we experienced at that hotel:
1)the full time female receptionists are thieves and partially showed their breasts(i swear i thought this place was an underground brothel when we first entered it)and charge you for HIGHLY inflated costs for optional services such as phone service and basic room consumables;we and the manager actually caught one of them (there are two of them) and her name was Sally, giving us a $150 payment receipt-the white copy-for the phone service in our room while keeping the $100 carbon red copy with her!!by the way,our phone bill costs in the end were merely $20 as we found out later...
2)the cleaning service(if you can call it that)will come to your room, switch your pillows upside down, and tell you "hey we cleaned your room".i swear,we had to bribe them to do some serious cleaning!!not to mention how they routinely use the customers' elevator instead of the employee elevator!!
3)NONE of the bathrooms in that hotel have keys!!and the water runs too slowly it was a pain to even shower there!!the walls were dirty and the cupboards had broken doors, shelves, etc!!did i also mention how frequently we saw cockroaches there??
DO NOT GO THERE,YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.go somewhere else where you won't have a...
Read moreWe stayed in Le Marly many times over the last years. ||||For what we paid we certainly received more, very helpful staff, clean rooms, some rooms are pretty new and recently renovated to modern styles, some are a bit old. ||||We travelled as a group and sometimes we just hang out in one of the rooms, the reception provided us with all what we asked for even ordering for us from outside. ||||just outside the hotel door, there are many restaurants and cafes. ||||If you want from your hotel a clean spacious room, comfortable bed, great location, Le marly is the right choice if you want more than that maybe looking for another place, but remember few hotels in Beirut are in the same price range and the price/quality ratio in Le marly is unbeatable. ||||The breakfast is a buffet with various dishes. but sadly coffee is not included and it will be charged to your room (you will be informed about each coffee charged...
Read moreI stayed totally 10 days in this hotel. It got excellent location in the middle of Hamra and night life and walking distance for everything (even the center of city). They clean the room every day and the stuff is is kind and at least try to help. They offer free wifi in the rooms(not so fast but its ok!) The breakfast is good (dont expect much!) but u must go earlier then 10 if u want..the full service. Positive for me is and the fact that just next to hotel is 5 stars tours, organising the cheapest tours in Lebanon(so u wake and..start the tour!) |the only negative is that the water isnt 100% unsalted but for me wasnt a big issue.|For the price the hotel is an...
