Me and my husband stayed at the hotel for 10 nights we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Its a 5* hotel but we got 7* service. From the moment we arrived we got a very warm welcome from Raayan and Ashraf hotel Mangement at the reception. The management knew it was my husband’s special birthday with out being told, they made special arrangements for him and took us by surprise. Nothing was ever to much for the staff in the hotel. We really loved our stay and felt at home. Our rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels, slippers and gowns and other ammenities. The cleaning supervisor Ahmed Jaffer went above and beyond to to make sure our rooms were comfortable and didn't leave the floor until he was satisfied that the rooms were on top standards. The breakfast was amazing and had a very good spread from traditional Lebanese to Internationalnal cuisine I can't fault it in anyway it was so yummy it felt like mums cooking. The hotel is located in a very strategic location next to all the lively lounges which is a 5/10 min walk, cafe’s, shops and the beautiful pigeon rocks. It was my 2nd time in Lebanon and I fell in love with the country and the people I will be returing back again with my family very soon to the same hotel. Thank you so much Raayan, Ashraf and Ahmed for treating us like your family members I will never forgot this hospitality. Thank you also to all staff at the hotel. There were too many Ali’s and Mohammeds so I thank all of you.

I visited during a business trip and couple of days off. Staff: front desk are very rude. Other facility staff were nice and attentive. Room: was very old, bad odor smell due to lack of good ventilation. They changed my room when I complained. The TV was an old one of low quality picture while I expect an HD TV in place, but the problem is actually the video cable input to the room not the TV screen itself. The bed was comfortable though. Breakfast: Very few items to select from although their quality is good. But I expect a 5 stars hotel to have a much better variety. The eggs station only offers Omelettes and scrambled eggs with veggies. Not possible to order a salmon or baked eggs. On demand Manousha was very small, you probably need to order 4. The homemade energy drink was perfect. Bakery was very good as well. The staff were very nice, and the view on the resort is perfect. Only disappointment, was that I could find a different selection to try, despite my 3 days short stay. Swimming pool: a perfect experience. One Olympic and the other suits family getaways. Location: cannot ask for any better being at a walking distance from Rouche. Overall, I still find it pricy due to the low quality room, rude staff, and limited breakfast selection.

Amazing location, inconsistent service, below average f&b. Housekeeping men's team is amazing. Women's team is terrible. One time I order the shrimp ceviche it's amazing. The second time it's terrible, made with guacamole instead of fresh avocado. Noisy high pressure nozzle used to clean the grounds every night. Construction started this morning at 10am without prior notice. This hotel has amazing hardware but lacks the service. Certainly not a Moevenpick. Breakfast contains almost empty shaving dishes. Bacon, croissant, potato wedges, hash browns. Bread is almost always non existent or only pita left. Croissant is great when it's there, but usually only one or two of each left. Eggs have to be pre-ordered. No eggs station. I ordered eggs Benedict and got sunny side up. The waiter clearly had no idea what Benedict is. Seems all the good staff have left Beirut. What a shame

One of the best experiences that i have had in my life. Excellent staff, nice food & a great location. My wife and myself have spent one week of our honeymoon at the Movenpick from 14 to 21 June and i can't express how happy and pleased we both were. We were met with a very warm welcome. My job is in the Tourism industry, and for 18 years i have seen many hotels and facilities, and without any doubt i can say that this hotel is super and i will happily return back to it. Lebanon is a beautiful country, and its people are so friendly, nice, helpful and polite. Yet the hotel made a huge difference. We simply loved it. I'd like to start with Mr. Saad Allah from the reception. He made us feel like his own family and always been there for us. He helped us with passion and friendliness all week long and always been there for us. We never hesitated to contact him for help or any inquiry. He will always be remembered. Then we had an excellent service from each and everyone of the housekeepers in the 5th floor (Our room was 529). Beside their high standard of cleanliness, they were super polite, friendly and always smiled. Then the waiters in the Madinaty restaurant and their manager. I can't describe how amazing they were. Mr. Joseph always welcomed everyone with a huge smile and made us feel home all the time. Then his wonderful team including Sophie, Mohamed, Ali & all of them to be honest. They were very polite, friendly, nice to everyone and served us from the heart. From 7 to 11 a.m. they worked like in a beehive. Nothing we ordered was any trouble for them. They were another family to us. Hemingway bar and lounge was a magical place. Awesome staff, great food and such a stunning view especially by sunset. Then around the pool (The Small one), we have a great service by Reema, Reigna, Hassan, Mohamed, Ali, and the entire crew. They were like friends to everyone and were very quick, helpful and nice. Movenpick Beirut is simply lucky to have such a crew. They made all the difference. Congratulations on your selection. I would proudly recommend the hotel, not just because of the location, but because of the amazing crew everywhere. If i can thank each and everyone of them in person, then i'd. I hope they can read my words and realize how we appreciated their hard work and excellent service that clearly came out of their hearts. We wish to thank them and wish them the best of luck. They are the reason why we'll consider returning back to Lebanon and stay at the Movenpick, just...

I checked out the Movenpick in beirut exactly a week ago and I'm still thinking about the Movenpick and the amazing staff that served me in my stay. I stayed in the executive suite with my family for nearly 3 weeks in room 415.

I can not stress enough the care and attention I received from the staff. I have told all my friends to visit Movenpick when they go Lebanon especially if they have kids because I believe it is the number 1 family hotel in Lebanon.

However there were 3 people in particular that made me feel extra special and definately are the reason I will be back next year. Firstly, Mr Ibrahim, the gentleman that makes sure the room is clean. Ibrahim was incredible! Everyday he treated me and my family like its the first day we checked in, always asking me if we need anything, and if there is anything he can do for me then just ask. He asked me this everyday! Made us feel very much at home and really looked after us.

Secondly the lady that cleans our room, its a lebanese lady I believe I didn't quite catch her name but she was also incredible! She had such a nice smile and made sure we saw it everyday. She made us feel very welcome and warm. And the room was also extremely clean everyday.

And finally, Mr Ashraf. Where do I start with this man. We met him when we first checked in he welcomed us with a warm and delightful welcome made sure we were really happy with the room and checked on us nearly everyday! Anytime me and my family needed anything he was there in a flash to help. What an amazing asset Movenpick has in him. However there was 1 negative thing that I would say about Mr Ashraf and that is he supports Liverpool!! My god please Movenpick convince him to change to Manchester United!

Jokes aside these 3 individuals stood out to me and are definitely the reason I will be coming back to Movenpick again and booking the executive suite once again! Room 415, Movenpick, Ibrahim, the lady & Ashraf, thank you very much.

Till next year, I wish you all the best with your business and please give these 3 people credit where it is due they really really made the difference for me...

We had not the feeling of welcome. Pretty unmotivated lady at the reception and also like “just do my job”. Rooms are pretty old fashion. Sea view was nice but they cleaned with a high pressure machine the whole day outside. Other work in front of beach with shovels was pretty noisy too. For dinner the restaurant manager told us it is closed because of a private party. Really? In a Hotel? No Dinner possible? After insisting they allowed us to enjoy dinner in a separate space. Breakfast was everyday the highlight. Couldn’t be better. Room service was good - but at the third day they took our private Shampoo from the Bathroom. No words. Limousine transfer back to airport is offered in our rate. I tried to order the car and the lady at the reception asked me if I would like to order a taxi or a limousine. I said to her it doesn’t care me because Mövenpick offer me the service. Twice she said no, it depends how much I will pay for the car. I tried again to explain her that The Transfer is incl. in the room rate. She was just too lazy to check which rate we booked. I had to insist. Check-out: bill for extra-Phone calls outside Lebanon. But we already paid these expenses the night before in cash. At the check-out they didn’t had this information. I am sorry to say that - but This Hotel isn’t worth the Money

Addendum: The Hotel contacted me a few days after I rated them here on Google. Very nice. We talked about my experience In the Hotel. I highly appreciate the reaction from the Management and I fully accept their excuses. I will come again to...
