The hotel looks ok, staff friendly, but, receptionist probably should look more professional and not like ,, grey mouse,, and talk soooo slowly like she doesn't care about everything and working here as needs to. She explained everything perfectly but did this more like robot and was not any ,,persony customer touch,,. As we are visiting during winter season, first notice, snow not cleaned besides entrance, and between buildings were we must use to get to rooms, and even small stairs outside after little gates next to street. So no safety . Just if someone from customers will fall, good luck with claims and insurance. Rooms are simple, as little studio, nothing special with good view. Talking about cleaning, rooms must be clean much more. If you will move beds dusty all over. Small light boxes where lights are dusty, top of tv omg has so much dust. Talking about bathroom, deep cleaning is a must, the bottom of shower door has judge amount of pink molds, corners as well, it's paste everywhere, fungus. Breakfast is simple, small range nothing special. You can see a bit kitchen from entry doors, hope they keep sanitary level, hope, as used cloths...
Read moreApart from the hotel, the restaurant was a real hidden gem. We had a dinner in a highly rated local place and regretted it later. "Dunes" had own restaurant with a great kitchen and a "green egg" barbeque. Menu was limited but really good. We only took appetizer - shrimp tacos, mango margarita and local craft beer- all was great. Lamb rump looked and smelled great, so did turkey salad. Good wine list (we did not check availability). Overall hotel was rather 3*; balcony was "French", bathroom had lot of somebody's hair, sewer in the shower was stuck, water was not flowing down but out of shower cabin. Amenities only shampoo and shower gel, no extras. Spa was on call, not on site, whatever that meant. Otherwise, the building was new, in a good location, top floor had a roof window, parking was fool, but had 2 reserved sports for electric cars (Tesla destination charger). Breakfast had limited options. NOTE: No Covid-19 precautions from the staff: not reception, not restaurant, not breakfast, at least in the restaurant cooking was happening outside and...
Read moreVery mediocre hotel sharing a building with a really great restaurant.
Unfortunately, breakfast seemed faaar faaar away from the quality you would get when ordering in from "restaurant 4".
Room was uncomfortable, layout was really strange. Door stops were put in weird positions making you constantly stumble upon them. No restaurant menu in the room, information provided was outdated, including some prices. Staff wasn't friendly at all (with an exception for staff from the restaurant) Breakfast was not good. Probably ok if you don't expect anything, but I had trouble finding anything warm to eat there. Extra request, left in a comment when booking, were charged extra without prior confirmation. Furniture in the room is really cheap. There's a window between bedroom and bathroom for some reason - nothing fancy, just a really...
