Melt In Palanga — Hotel in Palanga

we selected this hotel, because it was close to our previous location in nida, and close to the airport, where we had to leave lithuania on june 3 at 7 a.m. the arrival on june 2 was good, though everywhere there were preparations for a big festival going on. the receptionist, Ini, was friendly and assisted us with the luggage, and also with switching rooms to a bigger one. so far, so good. in the evening, the whole neighbourhood was emerging into a big festival and it became ever louder. as long as we were out for dinner - fine. at 9 p.m. - ok. at 11 p.m. - hm at 1 a.m., 2 p.m. and later - not acceptable. no one from the hotel had us alerted, not when we booked, not when we checked in. the reception was not active at that time, neither in the morning, when we were promised a door-knocking wake-up, and some help with the luggage - down a long stairway, no lift. no soul was there. we called the police at night,, but no interest there as well. |this was not an accidental event, but a long-planned festival, with huge installations - like a big wheel, dozens, if not hundreds of booths, dancing groups, enormous number of amplifiers, etc. so you would expect a hotel to alert you either when you book, or, at least, when you arrive and check in. but here - no. the missing lift was a serious issue as well, as was the promised knock on the door, and the never materialising help with the luggage early in the morning. |the rooms have an interesting scandinavian interior, and the evening receptionist was friendly. but, altogether - we were very disappointed. we only had three...

I had a great stay here. Location is great just by the main pedestrian street and close to the beach. Bring earplugs if you stay here as it is close to the party places.

Suggestions for improvement: Consider adding a sheer set of curtains together with the ones already there. In this case one can get the daylight in the room without having to worry about someone looking in. I had my balcony towards the ferris wheel and i constantly had to have the curtains pulled but then I got no daylight in at all and had to use lamps only. add bin for trash in the room more information such as how to get the free bikes etc would be appreciated add a full body mirror to the room or maybe in the hallway. We had a chance to stay with a family for a few days there and were very pleased with a staff, clean, cozy accommodation which was definitely a good value for money. ||Indeed, it is the one of the best places to stay in the heart of Palanga. Hotel is situated on the main Broadway within a very short walking distance to the sea as well as molo. Accommodation is extremely convenient for young families with children, as Palanga Summer Parque is a part of this accommodation as well as catering complex.
