Nese Pramogu Bankas Guest House — Hotel in Vilnius

I've booked last minutes for a Guest House and was not expecting a Hotel, to be honest, the building is amazingly beautiful, I didn't have the time to dig into the history of the building, but I am sure, it's part of the historic block of the Old City! ||||I love the location, very well communicate and easy to find. I was only for one night and got there late, so I didn't have too much time to explore the public area of the Hotel itself, but my Room was big, very clean and if the toiletry offered were better, the toilette could have easily matched any 4 and 5 Stars Hotel as well for the room if the TV channels works. ||||Besides the TV not working properly! 4 peoples woke me up at 1ish and they were shouting at each other almost until 3:00, despite having reported the issue to the reception 3 times, I am unsure if at the end they went quite by their own or if it was because the receptions had a chat with them. ||||If it was not because of these issues I would have given 5 stars. ||||Advise: if you are getting there late, it's advisable to eat something before check-in in, they don't even have snacks...

Pros: Large bed, cable TV with lots of channels, empty minibar and nice bathroom with decent - sized bathtub. The curtains do let some light in, but do a good job at blocking the most agressive sunlight. We stayed during the weekend, but didn't hear any noise from the casino/nightclub. Good location.||Cons: Staff doesn't react to you not even to say hi (might be cultural). Bed could be more confortable. Poor ventilation, room was very hot and the air conditioning was noisy and inneficient. A fan is provided but was even noisier. It doesn't feel like a 4...

Incredibly rude front desk administrator. It felt like I was checking into an international flight through customs and not into a cheap hotel. Definitely NOT recommended for a relaxing stay! If giving a minus rating was possible this would bey first.||||I went to the bar and was met with a different experience, Agne was amazing, unfortunately she wasn't enough to remove the bitter taste of the front desk. Not a good way to greet guests!||||I was refused even to post a picture of this dragon, so...
