This review is ment specifically for the owner of the pub. I went to this bar 4 out of my five nights in Vilnius. After checking almost ever pub in town, i must say this is the best one! The decor is great, the variety of drinks is wide and the cocktails are very good. The music is excellent and the bartenders are super nice and professional. Unfortunately, my last night was a huge disappointment due to one specific waitress (named Daphne according to the other waitress). In case it's not her name, she is a brunette that worked on the 16.10.25 From the moment we sat down she was very rude and got upset at any doubt/question we had. After our first round of drinks, we ordered some more and the nachos. Yes it was a busy night but not busier than the first night i was there. After 30 minutes i went to ask her about our nachos and her immediate reaction was to roll her eyes and point out at how full the pub is (basketball game night), when in fact, everyone got their orders except us. I kept my calm explaining i was only looking to see that our order wasn't forgotten. After 10 more minutes (40 overall) i decided to cancel the nachos and explained her that the waiting time for some nachos and her attitude were unacceptable. She got mad and rolled her eyes again. Meanwhile the nachos came and i went to the second waitress (blonde with glasses) and explained why i would like to return the nachos. She was very patient and understanding and immediately cancelled it in the check and apologized for the bad experience. So to the owner- your pub is by far the best one in town and it's a shame that one waitress can damage your reputation so much. If this was my first experience, i wouldn't have come back like i did 4 nights in a row. So I won't let one unprofessional waitress's behavior ruin my 5 star review, but you should really take this matter into consideration if you wanna keep being the best...
Read moreAs a person who has never given a review, I have had the desire to review a Pub for the first time since yesterday evening. Not in a good way. I have never experienced such unfriendly bartenders in my life. We were a sports group that wanted to celebrate a victory, everything was in good conditions and we were treated unfriendly, ignored when we wanted to order, eyes rolled, no sign of hospitality. It was also not possible to add everything to one invoice, the staff was poorly organized and annoyed, which created more chaos with orders and payments. There was also a little “Peanutgate” huge drama about peanuts that HAVE TO BE PAID DIRECTLY BY CARD! 🫣🫠Waitress was annoyed that there were people standing at the bar and she had a hard time getting through and your colleagues too !!! Sorry wrong job choice🤪🤷🏼♀️🤔 I've been wondering all the time whether the business idea is to not make any money and scare people away and hope they don't stay long!? It was a Sunday and a very friendly group of women came to your pup, the normal logic is, today is a good business evening. BUT NO, not in this pup. very unfortunate! not...
Read moreLiving in Vilnius for quite some time, but went to Republic just two times-didn't like both. The first time the waitress tried to cheat. When we booked a table in advance and came in, she took I think a 20 eur booking fee (which at first she said can be paid cash only), which she should had put on our tab (she even said, she will). But she didn't, because when we wanted to pay, she brought full check. As you come to bar to relax, chill and have some beer, we just forgot and remebered just the next day. We went back to the bar and confronted her, she faulted us for not remembering (seriuosly? It's waitresses job to handle money) and paying cash. She gave the money back, but we were left with the feeling that oh well, if you forget the money, which were asked for obligatory, in bar it's your problem. And when you remind the waitress not to steal, she faults you (again, seriously?) The second time nobody tried to cheat, but waitresses are a bit arrogant there, the food and beer selection not that...
