There are many hidden gems in Vilnius and the bust of Frank Zappa is one of them. It is more than just a simple statue but a symbol of defiance. Where a statue of Stalin once stood now stands a bust of Frank Zappa. You have to do your own research and read the story first yourself, but, Zappa became a symbol of freedom in post Soviet Lithuania and is just another fun thing to see. The statue of Frank Zappa is hidden away behind a small parking lot, close to one of the more central streets in Vilnius. What is there to say? It is Frank Zappa. It is surprisingly tall, but aside from that, there is nothing much to it. There was a nice mural behind it though.
