Soru Izakaya (Sibu HQ) — Restaurant in Sarawak

A bit upset today with the service. I've already sit for almost more than 20 minutes. .then the service crew said that their manager ask me to change table. .bcoz the table will be occupied by other customer later. .since i come,there is no any sign or anything saying that the table have been reserved. So,there is no such thing that they can move their customers as their like since the customer already sitting for long. .I'm also a cutomer. Doesn't mean that my sister working there, they can just let me move to another table. I came as a customer, not other than that. I don't know if other races or culture got the same 'pantang' as ours, bcoz for us we cannot changing place/table when we are eating. There is a girl (service crew) came and apologized to me. I just accepted it since it already happened. I'm sharing my experience and hope that they won't do that to any other customers...

Order Premium Malt, ramen and salmon skin.

Premium Malt were ok though at high price due to Malaysia alcohol tax structure while the salmon skin were crispy yet juicy.

Overall the ramen were good but yet disappointed as thy ramen noodle where not served in whole but in broken short piece which reduced the overall dining experience and certainly non-slurping 😞😞

Credit to the service staff which was friendly and attentive.

Updated, went ther few days back, order ramen again and same thing happened... It is too much to ask for a decent serving off "unbroken" ramen?? Or it is supposed to be service in broken, short strand...

Decided to end my last dinner in Sibu with something special, so I came to Soru after reading lots of good review on the web. Well, I would say the Shorosoru Saikyo is the best ramen I tasted so far. The pork broth is flavorful with some sweetness and not overpowering. The ramen is cooked to perfect doneness and the chashu is done nicely the yakitori is also above average. If I would be really picky, I would say the karaage chicken is a little bit disappointing as the crust is a bit too thick and a bit over fried. Other than that, service and the environment is superb.
