Hotel Sadong 88 — Hotel in Borneo

You not allowed to check in before 14:00 hrs.||* The pictures at booking.com is not totally same with the real situation.||* If you are booking this hotel via booking.com, we advise you to come early to get it room. The hotel staff only can accept the booking if you already bank in the amount at the atm account as mentioned by your notification, or you come early and pay direct to the reception. But if you are late, your booking will be lost. It's something like who fast then their get it.||* The reception counter under the staircase. So crouded during check in time. Because all the guest will be register at the same time starting by 14:00 hrs.||* Have to give the deposit with RM50.00 cash.||* The hotel not available to charge using the debit card. You must bring your cash.||* The hotel staff its not too much friendly but casual.||* This hotel is very strict about the linen. If you are need extra you must refer to linen counter and tell them the reason why you need extra.||* No elevator. Just staircase. Is not suitable for the guest using the wheelchair or sticks.||* The room entrance door can't close properly and the door alarm always ringing even the door already cloose. But actually the door is not close properly.||* No sound proof. Can hear clearly everybody talking on next door and laughing at the floor.||* Shower cutton is missing!||* Limited space at the bathroom.||* The toilet bowl flush always running and need to open the toilet bowl tank cover to adjust the things every after use.||* Limited socket. Only have to inside the room. One under writing desk and one more between the bed and closet.||* No telephone inside the room. we were so tired, but we book it early from booking.com for double single bed and it stated RM70, no mentioning about deposit at all. from what we observe from booking.com it seems like a pleasant budget hotel. This is the standard room therefore aircon cannot be controlled by guests as its remote is removed from the room. Only one bed can get the cool air.||Although this is a budget hotel, I would think a small TV can be provided for this room. No fridge; iron is out in the corridor for communal use. It would have been also good to provide hot water for communal use as there is no kettle provided. Bring your own cup and tea bags! The beds are very low. The height of the base AND the mattress is equivalent to the normal base (exclude the mattress) you find in other hotels.
