See西柚you hotel — Local services in Borneo

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, firstly because the room is very small especially the toilet, you barely have space to turn around, room has no window unless you get their room with balcony. Apart from that, bring a hotel in Malaysia you would expect them to have Malaysia wall socket that’s three pin… but no! They installed china wall socket instead and you need to get adapter from them… clearly this hotel is meant for china tourist.

When i arrived, it’s as though the owner isn’t aware of my booking and i had to provide a couple more details only he able to verify. He wasn’t even there the whole time, he left the entire place to 2 very young (18 years old) Malay locals who just worked there for barely a week to run it, they had little to none clue about my reservation. The living room is very stuffy with no air conditioner turned on. So the only place you can go is your room….

Lastly, it’s pretty far away from the main town, about 10 mins walk. Please...

We stayed at See You hotel for longer than expected and will definitely stay again when we visit Borneo. Despite the busy town, See You really felt like a peaceful escape, with really clean rooms and a nice common area. Sim our host made our stay really special and showed us the best that Semporna has to offer between our trips to the amazing islands! The location is perfect for walking to the ferry ports to get to the snorkelling and diving tours. It is also close to a bank, several supermarkets and restaurants. It was the worst (hotel) I have ever stayed in. The location is in the middle of a cloths thrift market. Stray dogs everywhere. The staff is irresponsible and make a lot of noise or play loud music from their phones or when they have conversations late at night. I had to go out to tell them to be quiet because I wanted to sleep. They use the vacuum cleaner very early( 8AM). But the worst part was the mattress. A piece of garbage. Very old, full of springs that push against your ribs all night. Many negative things to write here. It worth 3$ only. To sum up....
