OYO 89864 Hotel Holiday Park — Hotel in Borneo

Rooms are very old. The floor was dusty. The beds when you sleep on it you can feel the spring. The door lock also broken. You can't close and lock it from the outside. The windows curtains ripped off and then the air conditioning not even cold. Felt like you turned on a fan. Put the lowest degrees at 16 and still not cold. Complaint to the front desk lady, she frowned. She asked the cleaner auntie to go check to verify then the auntie said it's cold. I told the auntie, functioning aircond at 16 degrees you couldn't stand it and want to wear a jacket. But she kept saying it's cold. I asked for a room change and they said no more room available. So I said I wanted to get a refund. She said cannot, need to ask the online OYO for a refund. I called OYO customer service and told the issue and she said will get back to me within 4 days and refund will be processed within a week. Already a week still got nothing from them. Called again 2 days ago and the customer service said the case is still pending and asked me to wait for their feedback but I refused so she said she will highlight the issue to be put on as priority and will contact me within 24 hours. Till today, still nothing. They're just going to delay and ignore until you give up.

Please guys don't waste your money on this hotel. There are other 3 stars hotels luxurious looking...

The stay was pleasant. However there is a noticable cigarette smell throughout the room. Plus, when I checked into the room, blankets were not set up there and I had to request for a blanket myself. The bathroom floor has a slimy feel and the water heater is not functioning properly. It was very hot on the first few minute then it is straight out cold later. The drinks in the fridge is not free btw, you'll have yo pay at the counter once you've checked out and the markup for those is very high. Air conditioning was fine and the provided hair dryer is good. If you're looking for a nice quiet stay this is not the place as it is beside the Penampang highway and is very noisy especially at night. The location of this stay is good tho, it is five minutes away from Lido and about 15 minutes away from the city. There are also dogs at the lobby. Which is...

Terrible. This hotel not even deserving a star. 1, rude and disrespectful front desk 2, the rooms are old and smelly, the room is not cleaned, feel the sands like the tanjung aru sand beach when u stepped in 3, provides iron board without irom, no hair dryer provided. When u go borrow at the front desk counter, the rude person will tell u there’s one in each room, but all broken. Hahahaha this is insane, can u feel the stupidity ? There’s not even a single iron/ hair dryer is available to borrow at the counter! U want to charge people at market rate per night but basic things u can’t prepare Broken phone in the room, broken window can’t even close to block the outside sounds. Everything basic is broken and lead u to mentally broken as well
