This is the worst hotel I ever been to. We have to change 2 rooms and at last we decided to leave. The first room, there is no water supply and we have to wait for at least 30 mins (after we checked in) to get a shower. After that, the Aircond was not working. They asked for a technician to come over (about 20mins) and after 30 mins the technician says there is nothing he can do. We then have to change to another room. I have to ask the hotel personnel to check the room out first. Everything was fine until the Aircond broke down after 10 mins and after 15 mins, the whole room was black out without electricity. That was already about 1am. I have to wake my poor daughter up (6years old) multiple times because of this issue..
We at last gave up and cancel the hotel and we head back to our home which is in KL. It was the most terrible memorial experience we ever had. The best part of this story is that the hotel personnel and manager keep saying “there is nothing much we can do” and this is the kind of HOSPITALITY they provide under HOTEL MANAGEMENT..
Please consider before choosing this TERRIBLE HOTEL and TERRIBLE...
Read moreSimple accommodation that is decently equipped and considerately priced.
You get a working AC, fridge, water boiler, heated shower, wardrobe with hangers, TV with multiple channels and 1 extra pillow. Ample power sockets too.
Beds and pillows are alright, no smells or stains and not hard. As long as you're tired, it won't matter much.
No bed lamp so utilise either the TV or toilet light if you can't sleep with direct lighting.
Ironing facility is prepared in a common room.
On-site parking is abundant and we're lucky to get a spot at the area right in front of reception.
Staffs are friendly too so I like that a lot. Slight minus points on: Stains on toilet bowl seat The lift being only 1 that works and the other seemed to be pending for imminent repairs. The 2nd floor walk path towards hotel cafe is closed for repairs which again, is unknown to happen or not. Breakfast food taste could be improved
Overall, a fair stay for a fair price. Great for big families on an economical budget, or only intend to visit the 7 mins away Melaka Zoo (and nearby attractions). A bit of stretch to town, about 30...
Read moreRecently, we attempted to make a hotel booking through Trivago, which led us to Zenhotels. Initially, we had concerns about a potential scam, but it turned out not to be the case. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a communication issue between the hotel and Zenhotels. Despite having made our booking and payment, upon arrival, the receptionist (whose name we should note next time) informed us that the hotel did not have any contract with Zenhotels. However, the receptionist didn’t offer any further assistance and didn't seem welcoming.
Zenhotels made several attempts to contact the hotel regarding our booking but couldn’t reach them. We noticed that the reception phone was set to silent, so we checked it ourselves and requested the receptionist to answer, as it was Zenhotels trying to verify our booking. The receptionist appeared disinterested. Surprisingly, Zenhotels proved to be exceedingly helpful compared to the hotel in assisting us with the booking and refund. This experience highlights a flaw in the hotel's...
