OYO 714 Arina Hotel — Hotel in Kajang Municipal Council

Trip: 1-2 Aug 2019 Room #28 Standard Single Bed with Window.

First Impression: Pictures in the booking platform relatively matched with my own eyes. Female Muslim receptionist seemed rude to customers.

LIKES: Received an attractive weekday rate via OYO for spacious room for single bed with classic-style make up desk with installed mirror and stool, small drawer, adequately clean room and toilet (clean shower hose and nozzle, water pipe, sink, floor, wall and toilet bowl), functional aircond, strategic location in the business centre yet somehow exudes calming presence, numerous eateries, groceries, gift shops, fashion outlets, pharmacies, clinics, shopping malls, etc.

DISLIKES: Female Muslim reception seemed rude when welcoming me, public paid parking (MYR 0.50 cent per hour using coupon which can be bought at the hotel), WIFI connection is below average, TV is installed high up so can cause extremely discomfort and stiff neck and room floor seems not properly clean (I found some dirt and hairs).

BONUS: Extremely strategic location. TV channels are suprisingly good so I understood why the wifi connection is not that good.

Suggestions: Bring your own extension wire as power socket is far from the bed, sandals, pillow or towel as most OYO hotels does not provide extras. But I managed to get one extra towel because I asked nicely.

VERDICT: I gave 3 stars because the female receptionist was very cold and not easy to look at (not at the vanity but rather the attitude). I will definitely come again if I can get better rates.

Note: My second trip was on room 24 Deluxe Twin. All facilities are great except for the lavatory which was quite dirty. The room however has garden view and has gigantic window. Lucky that the room has two layers of curtains. And, this room is certainly not sound proof. Plus, the female Muslim receptionist is getting better in term on her attitude. Warm and...

Great location, very close to nice places. But the hotel looks very old. Especially the furnitures. After checked in, got a room with blinking lights. What worse is it is reeked of cigarette smell. Ask to change room, but still the same problems. Then for the third time, got a room with no cigarette smell. Overall cleanliness was not satisfactory. Bedsheets & pillows dirty & quite smelly, don't know if changed after check out. Found many hairs on bed and floor. The bathroom is not clean. The sink have a big hole under it (the connector) and water leaks to the floor. No TV channels. The previous reviews also said the same thing many months ago. Asked the receptionist but he said all rooms don't have channels. Seems like the hotel doesn't want to. The blinking & broken lights also did not want to repair. Same answer from the receptionist. Not satisfied with the stay because the price is not cheap. I have been to other cheaper oyo but cheaper...

first of all , i did not expect this wosrt it the hotel.. i know it was a budget hotel but..the water heater is not functioning , the toilet was dirty and the water flow was to bad. the towel was dirty Did not wash with anti bacterial .the picture given is just indah khabar dari rupa as . i paid roughly round off myr100 for the bed and get this type of service and when i ask the staff . the staff talk back and say stay a cheap hotel and demand for a lot of thing.. i did not demand for purpose.. they stated there in the web thaat they provide a lot of thing but what i get is just the unhygienic room , bed and toilet...i have been to the cheapest hotel myr 60 below but get best service which provide water heater ,cup and water boiler . and the room was very clean n tidy.

im not recommended , because the time i reach around 11 pm and i away in the early morning and get this worst...
