The E 'n' E Inn is a very good back-packer Inn in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Actually, there is 2 E 'n' E Inn - this one at Jalan Merbau is the old one, while the one at Jalan Sri Cemerlang is the new one. However, the old E 'n' E at Jalan Merbau was recently renovated and upgraded.||||I have always stayed at the Jalan Cemerlang E 'n' E Inn.||||As mentioned, the E 'n' E Inn is actually just a place for back packers for night or two at Kota Bharu. It is a short stroll to the Chinese food court at Jalan Kebun Sultan. There is another Chinese food court about 100 meters away at the E 'n' E Inn at Jalan Sri Cemerlang. ||||There are chairs and tables on the outside of the Inn for a relaxing chat, with well maintained shrubs and flowers, and there are ample car park at both the E 'n' E Inn.||||The hall and reception area is reasonably clean. The rooms are are average in size, and reasonably clean as well. The rooms are air-cond, while the beds are slightly hard. The attached bath room comes with an instant heater with powerful water spray for shower, and it is average in size. The rusty fittings here and there in the bath room is a common sight, and is not really a issue with the reasonably rates for the rooms. ||||Since this is a back-packers Inn, it is advisable to bring along your own towels and other...
Read moreI arrived at the hotel on 23/6/22, tired from the long journey that we had by travelling from KL to Kelantan and was surprised to see that we need to add an extra RM50 for the towels. Not to mention that there is no mineral water provided in the room, not even soaps and shampoo everything needs to be paid for. Plus, we need to pay RM100 if we want to borrow the iron. This is ridiculous. I do agree that the price is cheaper if compared with any other hotel in that area but with the extra chargers for the towels, iron, and soaps if it were to be calculated, the price is even more expensive than other places. The mattress was not even comfortable, it is hard as a rock. To sum up our experience here, there was even a funny smell when we enter the room. After a long day. We thought that we can at least have a good night's sleep but were surprised to hear someone knocking at our door in the middle of the night. I believe the owners need to improve the service to ensure they reach customers' satisfaction...
