We were part of a group attending a function on 13/5/2017. Travelling by train from Penang, we arrived at the hotel around 8pm on 12/5/2017. Since our organiser has checked in on our behalf, we collected our key cards and proceeded to our room on the 15th floor. The first thing I noticed was the main door could not be locked properly. The latch only slid in about 2mm instead of the whole 1 inch. So I called operator. Front desk picked up and said they will send housekeeping. About half an hour later maintenance showed up. After inspecting the problem, he asked to used the phone to talk with his boss. I'm assuming his boss wasn't picking up his phone but he managed to arrange with FO to change our room. After much complaining from my group, and me going down to exchange room keys, we walked into a similar room on the same floor only to be disappointed again. This room was worse than the one before. The front door latch wouldn't even slide in 2mm. Instead, it bounced back to it's unlocked position as soon as I let go. In addition, the master room had no lights on. So I called operator again and lo behold maintenance was sent up to replace the bulbs only to find out that there really was no electricity. Housekeeping supervisor also came up and another room change was suggested. It was by then past 9pm. I told the 2 staffs to ensure that the new room is in working order before I will go down again to exchange key cards. A few minutes later FO called and told me to change to a room on 17th floor. Again I insisted he go and check the room first before we move. Specifically, the front door can be locked and the master room has electricity. Approximately 15mins later, FO called and said new room on 13th floor assuring me that the room is in working order. This time all 4 of us went down to collect the key card seeing as we need it to access 13th floor. This experience alone has left me tired and utterly disappointed. In our group of 4, 2 are senior citizens 1 is 7 months pregnant. By the time we were settled in, it was past 10pm. This is possibly my worst hotel experience. The free WiFi in every room advertised in their webpage is also BS as I couldn't get any signal no matter which corner of the room I tried. Note the room change on...

We booked for a week, we cut that down to 2 loooong days as we were here for an in house conference. ||The room was large and basic reminiscent of early 90s , the walls were dirty and smelled of smoke, the bed was like concrete, minimum cutlery just 2 forks and bear in mind this is an apartment !!’ I asked for a knife and they said they have no knives in the hotel !!! Towels must have been 5 years old and seen 3000 washes, the window was broken and remained ajar so noisy night trying to sleep. The bathroom had rot in the door frames, they must have got a Macac monkey to paint the walls because there was paint overspill everywhere ||Wifi sucks couldn’t get it to really work on my Mac so I simply hotspotted to my phone||The food for breakfast was simply appalling the worst food in an international hotel EVER, we have significant reactions to MSG and everything and I mean everything had Ajinomoto or MSG added to it, I had to plead for breakfast to be made specially as I paid for it, what came out was still terribly just minus the MSG. The breakfast area was dirty the food was really cheap and we struggled to eat there. ||My advice is if you are having an event at this location for your sanity DONT STAY HERE, book somewhere else nice and grab a taxi to this place. Read moreThe location is easy to find. Got free parking at level 5 until 7 with stamp from the hotel when check out at the lobby. The lobby have 2 entrance right & left. But 1 side open 24hours. Another side only until 5pm i think? Because i'm check in 11pm. Only can enter from 1 side only. The PIC during check in is okay. Not much talking. Must depo rm100. Later during check out will return. Request room at higher level. Available! The room really spacious like the picture. Can fit up till 6 person? But mby need to bring own toto? Everything is fine. The furniture a litle bit old. But the bedding is good. We sleep well. There is no refrigerator. So if you bring food that need to be cool is not suitable. But there is microwave, water heater. 2 water bottle, coffee 3 in 1, coffee cup. The closet is spacious but no hanger. The bathroom toilet is clean. There is pool at level 8, must request for card clearance at lobby to access the pool area. There is no one when i went for swimming. Risk on your own. Pool for kid also available.
