Grand Village Inn — Hotel in Langkawi Island

The place is neat, new, super clean and just feels peace of mind when you reach it. The working staff are super friendly, responsive and available 24/7. Rooms come with air conditioning, kettle, hot water, soap and shampoo. They even provide tea, instant coffee, sugar and bottles of water. There is a kitchen in the rooftop of the building that you can use, but you need to check first if it’s ready to be used. You cannot see the peach from here but it is 10 minutes walking to the peach and to the Main Street where many restaurants/ shops/ malls are available. However, i must say that if you have toddlers or small kids using stroller, it will be a bit difficult to move in this hot area, as the entry to the place is not paved yet, no shade, and the main road is not properly equipped for strollers or even wheelchair. First I have to say this is the first place I’ve stayed that is actually better than the photos! Found this place by accident while out walking. ||||It’s so clean and well maintained. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful to my needs. It’s in a quiet area but still in walking distance to the beach, eateries and shopping. ||||The room is excellent! It’s spacious and well decorated. There’s a kettle, mini fridge, bottled water, a big flatscreen TV and the air conditioning is cold. There’s even a balcony with seating. The bathroom is large with a hot water heater and amenities like shampoo and body wash.
