MyRus Resort Villas Langkawi — Hotel in Langkawi Island

I feel like the resort was underrated, but I'd easily give it 5 stars. It's perfect for families with kids or anyone who are looking for a cozy "glamping" vibe.

1.We stayed in the Monkey room & Villa. The sea view was stunning, and the villa was spacious. Outside the villa, there was a basin and a long table where we could have dinner with family or even enjoy a steamboat.

2.The infinity swimming pool overlooking the sea was fantastic and we have a fun time with the water slide too.

3.The staff were all very kind and helpful.

4.Breakfast was decent. Although there weren't many options, everything tasted great. We especially loved the Nasi lemak, mee goreng, and scramble eggs. During the off-peak season, we were the only guests one day, so they served us a customized ala carte breakfast, which was delicious. (Fried rice, fried mee hoon, kueyteyo, noodles, and yummy scramble eggs)

Location: It is just beside the Aloft resort and around 14 min car distance to Pantai cenang.There are some spa, and restaurants aside the road.

Suggestions: 1.The road that entry the front gate of the restaurant is quite steep, not easy for bezza that we rent. 2.It would be better if they could have a renovation on the pool area and the facilities for kids like the aeroplane slide, bicycle as it looks a little bit run down.However, it won't impact...

Hi all, just a quick message with some good reviews (I’m not associated with this resort - just had a lovely time with my family and friends) . We have just came back from Langkawi (which has loads to offer as an island - cable cars, wildlife park and more) where we were staying at MyRus resort (we have 2 children - 4.5 year old and 2 years old). ||Fantastic place for all, great facilities with swimming pools, slides , good food which is served to your dome and not to forget lovely staff (very helpful and accommodating). The resort manager was very prompt with responding to requests and helpful. The resort it self is very empty due to COVID-19 having an effect on people not wanting to fly but Langkawi itself has no COVID cases. When we were there, we were the only guests which was fantastic in some ways ||The domes itself are specious enough but some of them could be a bit brighter. There is a playroom which had some problems with the roof but it was in process of being fixed. Other than that all good especially for the price we paid. We will be back next year for...

The Villa was so disgusting, bugs everywhere. The mildew smell and humidity in the air. The water heater in the upstairs toilet didn't work. I called the receptionist and he said if we want hot water we can only use the downstairs one. Obviously they knew the problem, but didn't deal with it.

The upstairs bedroom was full of gnats. There was blood on the bedsheets some more! Very poor hygiene of the room.

The swimming pool has a good design, but dirty.

Limited breakfast food, only few items for breakfast and food not enough.

I booked for 5D4N but I was only there for 2 nights. I booked another hotel on the 3rd day to leave this terrible place.
