Where do I begin as a fellow business owner I hate to leave a 1 star review but I would leave 0 if possible.
I checked in at 2PM a few days ago with a really nice young lady by the name of Shahine. She was very helpful and escorted me to my room. After a long day on the road, the only thing I wanted to do was take a nap. After 30 mins I noticed the Ac wasn’t working as I was sweating profusely.
I walk up to thefront desk and was greeted by some lady which was the general manager of the property. She rudely acknowledged the issue and said to wait an hour as they had just finished building their beachfront rooms and she needed to put up the curtains so she can upgrade me to one of those rooms.
An Hour and a half goes by and I see nothing has been done so I kindly ask her for my money back as I already didn’t feel welcomed by her rude attitude. She said she can only give me back 1/2 of what I just paid for — mind you I’ve only been in the room for 30 mins and the AC doesn’t work.
She said to be patient so I left the property in search of a motorbike rental and a bite to eat. I returned at 6PM and was told my room was ready. I go inside and still no curtains put up, the view is beautiful but some privacy would have been nice.
The AC in the brand new room would go in and out only working 1/2 the time. The water heater wouldn’t turn on so only cold showers, not even a bar of soap or basic mirror in the bathroom…the list goes on.
Kicker; she made me pay 100MYR for this upgrade. For future reference if you weren’t so greedy and would have returned my money back within the first 30 minutes knowing the room you gave me wasn’t acceptable I wouldn’t be writing...

One of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in Langkawi. We went to Cenanghill Beachfront and ordered just fried bihun and a watermelon juice — nothing fancy. But the way we were treated was just disgusting.
The female staff — short, loud, and clearly has an attitude problem — treated us locals like we were invisible. We just wanted to order, but she started yelling across the restaurant instead of coming over. The moment foreigners walked in, her entire face changed — sweet smile, polite tone, even sat with them to explain the whole menu. The double standard was painfully obvious.
Not only that, the place is NOT baby-friendly. The baby chair they gave us had nails sticking out — a complete safety hazard. Shows how little they care about families or basic customer safety.
And the price? Nearly RM30 for bihun goreng and juice. Absolute daylight robbery for such poor service and unsafe facilities.
This was our first and definitely last visit. Never again. Avoid...
Read moreWe stayed here this December. We reached around 2 pm, and the AC was not working. The staff were not sure when it would be repaired. The room felt like an Oven. We left and came back in the evening, when the staff told us that the AC was repaired. However, the room was still hot and the manager argued that she had stayed in the room and found it comfortable, and hence we should too. Later they lost our room keys, making us wait outside. They said they would supply us with a pedestal fan, but didn't. We had to stay for one night as they wouldn't return our money for the first day, even though it was less than an hour. The only good thing is that they cancelled our stay for the second day and gave us back our money. They also looked after our bags during the repair. The place is not at all happening, there were waiters following us around to order food. The staff were doing hookah at night. Not at all worth the price. Would not recommend this...
