omaré boutique cafe langkawi — Restaurant in Kedah

Came here in the morning with the family. We ordered Nasi Lemak Beef Rendang, scrambled eggs & toast, onion & mushroom omelette, mango smoothie, lychee iced tea, English Breakfast tea and Milo O.

The beef Rendang was superb. Tender and flavorful with every bite. Perfect with nasi lemak. Scrambled eggs were nice. Toast bread also nice. Would have preferred butter over margarine. As for omelette, would have preferred button mushroom over the kind they served with had a stronger flavor. And cheese as an omelette topping would have been nice but absent due to "healthy options only" tag. The mango smoothie was a gem of a drink. Loved every drop. Ahmad brand English Breakfast was what we're used to so that was nice. Lychee tea had chunks of fruit in it. Awesome!

Atmosphere though non air conditioned was comfortable. A few pesky flies made it less than ideal and being right next to the road meant a little more noise from motorcycles. Can't be helped I suppose. Flies could be dealt with more aggressively perhaps.

Service was polite, patient and helpful. Couldn't ask for better. Overall, I'd recommend this place...

Dropped by Omare Boutique Cafe in Langkawi (it’s right beside AJD Café, but they’re two separate places) and tried their local breakfast. I ordered the local pancake, traditional kaya & toast, and a black coffee.

Pancake really hit home, super soft, simple, and just like the ones I remember from childhood. Kaya toast was spot on, perfectly crisp and flavorful. The only thing that fell a little short was the coffee, which tasted more like a powdered mix than a proper brew.

Overall though, it’s a cozy spot with nostalgic local flavors that are worth trying if...

My 1st time came here, and the environment is so relaxing, they have a jazz music background, me and family feel so welcome, the staff is so friendly and the food is so delicious, taste like a home cook, 5 star for the delicious food and the price. We ordered 3 nasi lemak with chicken rendang and a bowl of chips. We stay next door at Royale Cenang Resort, and surprisingly, we came back 2 more time to have our breakfast here before we heading back. Highly recommend if you travel to Langkawi, they have both local and western food. We'll be back if we travel...
