I had an amazing experience staying at Glamping @ Xscape Tambun, Ipoh, Perak during my last school holiday vacation. The place is beautifully surrounded by lush greenery, offering a peaceful and refreshing escape from city life. The tents were well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with comfortable bedding, ensuring a relaxing stay. Each unit had a private outdoor sitting area, perfect for enjoying the fresh air and natural surroundings. The glamping site was clean and well-organized, with modern facilities that blended well with nature.
One of the highlights was the serene environment, shaded by large trees that provided a cool and calming atmosphere throughout the day. The pathways were well-paved, making it easy to explore the area, and the overall ambiance was incredibly soothing. It was a perfect spot for a getaway, whether for families, couples, or friends looking to experience the beauty of nature without compromising comfort. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.
Overall, Glamping @ Xscape Tambun is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a unique and comfortable outdoor experience. I highly recommend it for those who love nature but still want a touch of luxury in their...
Read moreReally enjoyed this stay - unique and different from the usual. And the kiddo got to half dip his toes into some outdoor living - wasn’t rough at all! I’ll definitely come stay here again and be a lot more prepared next time. Only thing is the owner could actually properly invest into industrial shared bbq stoves like what they have at condos - a few halal and non halal ones - and you are set. Imagine happy customers barbecuing all night. Just charge for the wood fire or charcoal. I’d even build a wood fire oven out here…would be totally cool. Missed opportunities but hopefully the owner would invest a bit more into maximising the experience for everyone. We were here on low season and only 3 tents were occupied which made for a very quiet stay. At night time however you can hear the bikes and cars from the main road as we are still in Tambun town after all. Mornings however was lovely as there’s like a bird sanctuary right behind this place and you get to see tons of birds being active. The staff says there’s wildlife (monitor lizards) at the river behind, but they don’t come near. Don’t leave your food out or keep the lights turned on inside the tent or you will attract a heap...
Read moreWe stayed here as a family for a couple of nights. The tents are clean and come in various sizes, both with and without air conditioning. All tents have a private bathroom attached and include a gas stove.
However, nighttime was a challenge due to a mosquito mayhem, and the staff did not provide any coils, sprays, or repellents to help with the issue. This was the most disappointing part of our stay, as we had to rush to a supermarket to buy mosquito repellent ourselves. Even standing outside was problematic due to the large number of mosquitoes.
Given the location, the management should conduct regular spraying to prevent such issues. They do offer several activities, but due to the mosquito problem, we skipped them all and just waited for morning so we could check out.
They also provide a BBQ setup for an additional RM 65, which is a good option if you plan to grill—though you’ll need to bring your own meat.
Breakfast is included, but it was very basic and served cold, so we ended up eating elsewhere. Overall, it’s okay for a...
