Review: Restoran Johan Classic Seafood and Western

I recently dined at Restoran Johan Classic Seafood and Western and ordered Set A with a slight change, replacing Siakap Tiga Rasa with Siakap Goreng Kunyit. Here's my experience:

Food: The Siakap Goreng Kunyit, Kailan Ikan Masin, Telur Dadar, and Tomyum Putih Campur were all average in taste—3 out of 5 stars. Nothing particularly memorable about the dishes, and the presentation was lacking (2 out of 5). The Otak-Otak was the only highlight. It was flavorful, earning a 4 out of 5, and was served promptly.

Service: The service left much to be desired. It took nearly an hour for all the dishes to arrive, even after multiple reminders to the staff. Additionally, the table wasn’t cleaned properly. Even after placing our order, the table hadn’t been wiped, and we had to call the staff multiple times to address this.

While the Otak-Otak was enjoyable, the combination of slow service, late table cleaning, and average food made the overall experience underwhelming. Improvements in cleanliness, efficiency, and presentation would greatly enhance the...

I've been going here for years and am a huge fan of their 'daging bakar,' and they have a great dining environment. But I think it's time to find another tomyam shop, as the services are deteriorating, and the cooking quality isn't worth the price anymore. I don't mind paying a high price as long as the meal is good; we're all aware that raw materials are becoming increasingly expensive. Come with family, bad service. 10 min wait at the table but nobody clear the plate from previous customer. After 10 min waiteress take the order, 15 min drinks is serve. 20 min first western menu is coming and miss 1 portion. Because waiting 30 min for nasi hidang. So my wife ask our food and they said that still waiting the rice is cook and my wife say why the customer coming late than us have they nasi hidang first?
