KFC Sunway Tambun — Restaurant in Perak

This KFC outlet is a bit different than the other KFCs and it's called KFC Kitchen Restaurant.The modus operandi is different on the delivery system.

On normal KFC outlets, a customer lines up at the counter and places his/her order, pays for it and wait for the cashier or helpers to prepare the meals while customer waits in line. Customer collects his/her orders and then the next customers will have their turn. At times, there is a long queue if a customer orders large meals.

On KFC Kitchen, customer places his/her order and pay. They then exit and wait outside the line for the helpers to prepare the order while the next customers can place their order, pay and exit from the line. Customer's order number which is printed on their bill will collects his/her orders when the number is called. It is faster and cut the queues.

Anyway, I find that KFC is getting a bit expensive as my large mashed potato only has 3 scoops instead of 4 which I used to have and the cost is RM6.90. I didn't notice the scoop sizes are bigger to warrant the reduction in the number of scoops. Just my...

Yes..1 star, this 1 star is meant for the outlet manager/supervisor who gave her best to earn this 1 star from me.

My very first time using kfc apps to place an order for pandu ambil (self collection via drive thru). Date & time set it at 12.15pm and I arrived at the designated parking slot for pandu lalu at 12.14pm. Yes, i'm on time.

Waited for 5mins, no one from Kfc walk out, 10, 15...20mins also no one comes out. While waiting, I started to contact this outlet through the contact number given, sadly no one pick up my phone after 5 times.

On the 6th attempt, someone pick up and she seems confused. Then here come the outlet manager walk out and approach me saying that they did not have any order for pandu ambil order..OMGooooodness!!

KFC Malaysia..please throw away your dumb kfc apps, and also improve your customer service and ordering+serving lead time.

Improved the place compare to before this as they installed fly trap. Clean place and hot food. No kids playground though. In terms of the chicken it is hot and fresh. I give two stars only because of the outlet environment that is FREEZING COLD with air cond in full blast, as if telling you to eat faster and go. Once you enter the outlet, you will definitely shiver in cold. You have to race with the air cond to eat the hot food or otherwise your chicken will be as if it is just out from the fridge. Upon suggestion, the staff politely informed that the air cond can only be either on or off, cannot adjust temperature. How can there be this kind of backward...
